THE PLACE TO LEARN ABOUT BASEBALL -- AND HOW TO SNAG ONE AT A MAJOR LEAGUE GAME

Who am I?

My name is Zack Hample. Thanks for checking out my web site. It's not fancy, but I'm proud to say that it IS mine. I designed it myself, I'm responsible for all the content, and I refuse to write some stuffy-ass bio in the third person and pretend that it came from my publisher.

That said, I've written a couple books, and I'm working full-time this year on another. The first was called How to Snag Major League Baseballs and it came out in 1999. The second was titled Watching Baseball Smarter and it was published in 2007. (The new one, tentatively titled The Baseball, will be out in March 2011.)

Even though I often do things that have nothing to do with sports, most people know me as THAT GUY who collects baseballs. That's because I've snagged over 4,500 of them at 48 different major league stadiums since 1990, and I've been interviewed about it quite a bit.

If you have a few minutes to spare, read this article about me and take a look at my TV reel below. It'll give you a better idea of who I am -- at least when it comes to baseball -- as will the rest of this site.

Enjoy...
