This is a prime example of the media sucking ass. When the reporter interviewed me and asked how I support myself, I explained in great detail that I'm a baseball writer and that I'm working "full-time this year" on my third book. For some reason, however, the reporter chose to focus on my part-time work at a book store. Unbelievable.

There are several other inaccuracies in this article. Don't take any of it too seriously. And by the way, I'm holding my 4,000th ball in the photo. That's kind of important, I think, but of course the Daily News neglected to mention it.
