Hi what’s up Zack, you are so amazing at everything you do but I want to focus on your cup trick. This is such a smart way of how to get baseballs and I thank you for teaching all of us viewers that. You are such a great role model and I want to thank you for that.

Hi Zack,

Merry Christmas and happy holidays! My son, Cooper, loves your YouTube channel and is obsessed with baseball.

We are planning to buy tickets for a Rockies v. Dodgers game in late July. We're wondering if there is any chance you'll be in town and would do a "Watch with Zack" game for his 13th birthday! It would make his whole year!

Thanks so much and we look forward to hearing from you!

All our best,
Cindy, Jason, Cooper and Tate

Hey Zack. You just met my son a few hours ago. Eli. He was really psyched to see you. When he first mentioned your name a few years ago I thought it rang a bell. I read your bio and saw you grew up in nyc. Then I saw we went to the same school but didn’t overlap. I went to Columbia grammar k-8. Played baseball in high school at Stuyvesant and then pitched at Columbia. But I feel like we played west side little league against each other. Possible? We are the same grade and age. I grew up on 96th and Columbus. I was born Feb 1977. Anyway. Super small world and I appreciate what you do for baseball and for the kids who really look up to you, including my son.

Hey there,

My name is Stephanie and my soon to be 12 year old son Milo loves you!

We live in highland, Indiana which is about 20 mins from Chicago. Milo is a huge white Sox fan and watches your visit to the stadium on repeat.

He asked for his golden birthday which is Dec. 12, if he could meet you. While I explained this isn’t baseball season, and you lived in NYC, I wanted to know if you do other things. Like If you would record a video singing him happy birthday or something along those lines, I’m open to suggestions…

In short, what are your price points for your craft. If it aligns with my budget, I would really like to see if we can do something for milo to make his golden birthday extra special! Thanks for all you do, especially keeping your video language clean!

Happy Holidays and I hope to hear from you soon!

Thanks!

Stephanie

Zack,

Your successes continue to amaze and entertain my kids and I, especially my 7 year old little Cardinals fan. She loves the game and was lucky enough to get 3 balls at games and practices in 2020.
Do you ever send balls to fans in the mail?
If so, can you send two autographed balls one for me and one for Anna?
If not, I fully understand and hope to run into you at Busch in 2022!
Thank you for entertaining so many baseball fans and for being so generous with balls at games.
YEA BASEBALL!!!
In peace,
Dan

Hi Zack,

I just wanted to let you know you inspired me to create a STEM challenge with my year 4 students based on how you pick up baseballs with your cup trick. Students worked in pairs to create their own device using cups, tape, string, weights and other craft materials. We used tennis balls as we don’t have baseballs (but we would like some!). The girls did the challenge today and they loved it – they had so much fun. A great challenge to develop teamwork, creativity and critical thinking.

I have been watching your videos all year, I love them! Thanks again for inspiring me for this great challenge.

Kind regards,
Matt

Dear lord Zack, you really are a perfect example of just how good a person can get (in whatever endeavor they choose) when they dedicate their self to it. I’m a very analytical person, and what you are able to do honestly seems to defy logic. Even though you have the benefit of being one of the only people specifically trying to do what you do, you are still in a way competing against tens of thousands of people at all times. When you caught Trout’s first blast I thought that would be the highlight of your career. Then came A-Rod. It would be insane if you top that somehow, but this is another jewel in the crown. Very, very impressive. Almost as impressive as a perfect score on the music quiz.

Zack, Lee here. I am 44 and live on Long Island. My son Jonah who is 10 and I love baseball and he turned me onto your videos. You are, by far, the best thing he watches on YouTube. Your videos are the only thing he watches that I enjoy too.

I read the FAQs and I gotta set up a Watch With Zack game for next season in The Bronx. Please put me on your radar for next season. I'm thinking maybe I could surprise him and not even tell him that we'd be meeting you. I think he would freak out.

Also, so u know, we are legit baseball fans. Been taking him to games all over the place for years. Flew down to Atlanta for some Braves games when it was SunTrust and this year took him to Philly and Camden for games. I even got him to throw out the first pitch at a Long Island Ducks minor league game because my company was sponsoring the game.

One of my prized possessions in life is a Bob Geren foul ball I got in 1990 at the old Yankee Stadium.

Also, last night was legendary. We didn't realize you were at the game and then saw it on tv and we both looked at each other and were like holy crap that is Zack.

Anyways , I'm super impressed by your skills. Please let's set up a Watch With Zach game for next year. The fee is fine. I read the FAQs.

Be in touch please at your convenience, thanks so much.

-Lee

Hey Zack

I am one of your biggest fans. I have been watching your videos for almost four years. I myself am from Wellington, New Zealand. I managed to make it to a single major league game at Angel stadium in 2019. I just wanted to thank you for being awesome and for keeping up your consistent high level of content. Thanks.

My 8 year old son Vincent is a huge fan. He had a photo opportunity with you in August when you came to Dodger Stadium.  I would like to send the photo to you and see if you could sign it for him.  I was wondering where I can send it and if I need to also send a prepaid addressed envelope with it for you to send it back.

Thanks for your time,
Tracy

Zack,

My name is George, and I now reside in Houston. I have attended a few Astros games in the past. I don't have the funds to purchase expensive tickets, but I do have the money to cover each game a special occasion. I have no idea what your calendar is like or what my plans are for next year, but I'd love to invite you to an Astros game. I go out of my way to find the best discounts and the best seats, which are usually around the foul lines in the front row. I am subscribed to your YouTube channel and watch your videos on a daily basis. I'd want to contribute to your collection and would like to know if you're available.

Love everything you do and keep it up, I want you to reach 15,000 by the end of the next year.

September 19, 2021

Dear Zack,

Are you going to be at Fenway Park on Tuesday for Mets-Red Sox? I love your videos, keep them up.

-Taylor

September 18, 2021

Zack, I have to give you credit for reigniting my love of baseball. I was a big fan in the 90s but drifted away about 20 years ago. I have no idea how I happened upon your channel, but your passion and enthusiasm for the game is contagious and I'm finding myself watching baseball games again....and enjoying them!! Keep up the good work!

-Matt

September 12, 2021

Hey Zack, my name's Nelson, I was the kid that earlier this year asked if you'd be a part of a podcast, this isn't me asking again for that. I just wanted to say thanks for what you do for the sport of baseball. I know there's people that say you need to grow up and stuff along those lines but at least in my opinion I think your a huge ambassador of what the sport is supposed to be. which is fun.

And thanks for being such a big inspiration to me. In 2018 thanks to you I started ballhawking between major league and minor league and have gotten exactly 823 lifetime baseballs in that time that started. and I'm only 17. and it's not just that that has me addicted to it, the traveling involved with this, as tiring as it is it's always great to see new places and get to get away any stress at home either be school or whatever.

Thanks for what you do for the sport.

September 10, 2021

Hi Zack! My name is Todd, I’m a huge fan of yours man, I’ve watched your videos for years now and am a hawk myself(amateur) lol….but I’ve recently introduced my 8 year old nephew to your videos and tactics and he wants to be just like you! Man you’re his hero!…If it isn’t too much to ask I would love to maybe get an autographed ball from you for him? I will send the ball to you if need be. Just please let me know man! I appreciate it so much! Thank you….happy hawking bro!!!

September 6, 2021

You my friend, are the luckiest man in the world. When I say you are living the dream of tens of thousands of folks who wish they could do what you do. Stay blessed brother.

-Chris

September 5, 2021

Zack,

Thanks for taking the time to autograph my sons’ baseball gloves at the Yankee game this past Friday. My kids watch your videos religiously and were more excited to see you than the Yankees. It was hilarious. My youngest son Matthew said your autograph was more special than any other he has ever gotten…seriously, his words, not mine!!!

You are a great advocate of the game of baseball and do an awesome job as a role model for young fans. Many thanks and hopefully we will see you at another game in the future!

-Dan

September 4, 2021

Hey I just wanted to say I love you videos and watching them makes my day a lot better. Thanks and keep up the awesome videos!

-Colton

September 2, 2021

Just wanted to say thanks for the awesome videos and positive energy in this day and age. Every few months I go on a bender with your content and it’s always a good time.

Been dealing with some health issues as of the last few years so I’ve been limited in getting out. Spent half the night, down a rabbit hole on your channel and just bought a ticket to see a Rockies game this week after Labor Day. Hoping the stadium is quiet during a day game after the long weekend. Excited to get back into Coors Field and on the off chance if you’re in a Denver this coming week of the 8th, maybe I’ll see you out there.

Hope you’re doing well and never stop giving the world that energy man, we need more of it.

September 2, 2021

Hey Zack,

Congrats again on the sweet catch on the Mondesi homer. Hope the boneless chicken wings weren't too cold by the time you got around to eating them after the chaos from the home run.

Next time you are at Wrigley and need an Aquafina hookup, feel free to reach out. Always happy to try to hook it up if I'm vending a game that you're at.

Thanks again to you and Chris for creating hours of free content that I have so enjoyed consuming - glad I was able to pay it back a little bit tonight. Wishing you all the best in future baseball-catching and life endeavors.

Best,
Jonah

September 1, 2021

Hi Zack,

My son Uriah is a big fan of yours and we just saw you catch Adalberto Mondesi’s home run ball a few minutes ago. My family and I plan to be at Friday’s game in KC so I thought I would check to see if you will be attending the entire series or if your there only for this evening. If you happen to be there on Friday, Uriah would love to meet you.

Thank you,
Nate

August 29, 2021

Hey Zack, my name is George and I’m a pretty big fan of your videos. I’ve been thinking about possibly doing a watch with Zack game for a while but there’s just one problem. My favorite team is the Houston Astros. I know what they did in 2017 and it’s very disappointing and makes me sad. However, I’ve been a fan of them since I was probably 4 years old and I’m getting ready to turn 17. It’s kind of hard for me to stop liking a team I’ve watched my whole life. I just wanted to know if you will even attend a game at Minute Maid Park anymore after what my team did. If you don’t attend games there anymore after what they did I’ll understand. If you are okay with attending a game at MMP then that would be something really cool to do. I’m not exactly sure when I would be available for something like this but it’s something I definitely want to do down the road. Keep making awesome videos and catching those baseballs.

-George

August 28, 2021

Hey Zack, I came across your videos on YouTube and have been on a binge. I’ve been going through a very financially stressful time in my life right now, due to investing into myself and my dreams related to music. Baseball has always been a huge love of mine since I was young, and ive realized how your videos have really gotten me more invested into the the love of the game I had when I was a kid. Thank you for everything you do brother.

August 28, 2021

Hi Zack,

Any chance you'll be in Atlanta Sept 10 or 11 for the braves game vs Miami marlins? I'm going to be there. Love your videos!

-Zach

August 27, 2021

Dear zack sample I am a big fanned and my twin brother both like to catch baseball's just like you and it been my dream to meet you so can you come to cleveland

August 25, 2021

One day our grandson, Avery who is 8, was visiting Greenport from Brooklyn. He and I were having a moment together, and as he was sitting across from me reading something on the Internet he said aloud, " This guy just caught a fly ball!......NO, he has caught two fly balls,,,OMG he has caught OVER ONE HUNDRED!!!"  Working across from him on my computer I say casually, "Is his name Zack Hample?"

Avery looked up, eyes wide and said, "How did you know that Nanny!?!?"

I said your grandfather and I, and Aunt Alex actually know him, and he worked with us on a SCRABBLE Tournament.

I said, " Hmm, wait a minute", and I went to the house library and pulled out your paperback that you signed to me. Well, I just turned into the coolest grandmother in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD! Not only that there was a slip of paper inside that said, "Jane You rock, Love Zack"

Avery's back in Greenport for a few days and still carrying that book. He also now carries a mitt and baseball EVERYWHERE. He told me he learned some tips from the book and caught a ball at a game because of it.  Still trying to track down the story on that!

You touched this little kid's heart. Thank you. Touched mine too. You rock, Zack.........back at you.

Love, Jane

August 25, 2021

Dear Zack,

I am a loyal fan of you, what you do, what you stand for, and I love watching your videos! I  just watched the video where you cup-tricked an Aaron Judge home run and got an incredible ball! That was the last straw for me; I just had to try and make a cup trick myself! Well I just tried and my biggest problem is not being able to come down on the ball with enough force so I can't grasp onto the ball at all. I know you are very very very busy with your schedule, going to baseball games, and doing what you do best: Catching Baseballs :). But I was just wondering if you could either make a video on how to make/use a cup trick (I've already watched the How To Glove Trick Video), or just shoot me back an email when you have a chance about how you built yours (what cup and string to use, pointers/strategies/hints) etc. You are my hero Zack! Your videos are truly inspirational and I am so happy to watch them when you release them! I really hope to meet you one day! I know you are incredibly busy, this is just something to think about in the back of your head. You're the man!!

Sincerely, Jackson

August 25, 2021

Hello Zack

My boys (7,11,13) are big fans of your channel. We are going to the game on Sept 6 (Labor Day) and they were hoping they would run into you by chance to meet you , take a picture and watch you catch a ball. They even made me buy tickets in section 103- I guess that's where you stand sometimes , hopefully it will increase their odds as well . Anyway , we dont expect you to read all your emails but I figured I would reach out and give it a shot.

Keep doing what you do- looks like a-lot of fun!!!

Sincerely

Ryan, Chase, Blake and Dane

August 25, 2021

Hey Zack,

My kids watch your videos every day after school [after homework] so I thought it was worth an ask to see if you'd be headed to the Oakland A's game on the 24th? We have tickets for that Friday night game and I know my kids heads would explode if they saw you!

I realize your email is probably poppin all the time, so if you don't get back to me, I won't take it personally lol.

Have a great rest of your day,
Stephanie

August 23, 2021

Hey Zack

Just wanted to say hi and thank you for all the videos to send out. My son and I look forward to catching the games.  We live in Chicago but have recently done a few games in the brand new Beloit Snappers stadium on the Wisconsin/Illinois border.  He was “on the board” big time at their 2nd game ever when he got 7 balls.

Take care and thanks

Jeff

August 17, 2021

Hey zack, just wanted to say your videos are great to watch. Although I made it through your FAQs, I’m not looking to bring you out as I don’t have that kinda cheese, and I’m all the way in Colorado. Not to mention, you probably still have some PTSD from your all star game trip.

As a huge baseball fan, I think it’s awesome that you offer and do this with young fans. And I watched all videos you linked, you are so engage-ful! The videos with Ben and Andrew were great. No wonder you guarantee you catch a ball, got to double digits easily!

Fun to watch, hope you get this.
Big fan in Colorado,
Ricardo

August 17, 2021

Hey Zack!

I absolutely love your videos! I love them all, especially when you check out my Brewers!

I have TONS of official MLB baseballs. I’d love to send them to you (as a shoutout for all that you do). It’d be my way of throwing (mailing) you some free baseballs.

Let me know! From one Zach to another,

-Zach

August 16, 2021

Hi Zack,
My 8 year old son – Hunter, found your video channel about a month ago.  Since then, we frequently watch your videos with great enthusiasm and cheer you on for each ball you catch.
Your videos have inspired my son to try out for little league baseball here in Dunedin, Florida.  He will submit his application in person this Saturday.
Last night he asked me to purchase one of your tee shirts for him = I just ordered two.
Just want to thank you for the great videos you put out and for inspiring my son to play baseball.
God Bless,
Bill

Hey Zack I’m Charlie. My son Xavier birthday is coming up but I can’t figure out what to get him. So I thought about the guy I always saw him watching catching baseballs at games. So I figured out it was you and I immediately wanted to contact you. You might be thinking why doesn’t he get some PlayStation or something? He has never been into that he always has had a love of the game of baseball and is always trying to improve. So I’m wondering if you their is a way that you can give him your signature? Please let me know I’ll do anything for my son on his 10th birthday. Thx- Charlie

August 4, 2021

Hi Zack,

I'm a huge fan of your YouTube channel and you're such an inspiration to everyone on accomplishing a feat that many baseball fans dream of...getting a ball!

I collect autographed memorabilia and about to retire from the United States Air Force after nearly 20 years of service (Sep 2022). I've been building a list of some celebrities or non-baseball athletes that I would like to get their autograph on a Rawlings Official Major League Baseball. You most certainly made the list. My intentions on continuing my autograph collection is more to tell a story to my kids and then their kids of who is on the ball as well as how it was obtained.

So I suppose my request is by what means, if any, can I ship a baseball to you to sign? I'm willing to provide a fee for your services or a donation towards a charitable cause in your name. I will also provide return postage for your convenience.

I appreciate your time and hopefully we can bump into each other at a future game.

Thanks,
Joseph

August 4, 2021

Hi Zack,

My name is Dale and I am the guy that said I would write a letter to the Dodger about your bad experience. I am a native of Los Angeles for 64 years. I was very upset they treated you that way. I live about 20 minutes from the stadium and I always watch them on TV and my friend and I go to about 2-4 games a year. Well I did write snail letters to Stan Kasten President and CEO, Joe Jareck, Senior Director of Public Relations and Naomi Rodriguez External Affairs & Community Relations. I explained you make the little kids happy by giving them MLB balls. I do not know if it will help but at least I tried. I explained to them that how you like to give the balls to the kids and that those are the kind of memories a kid thinks about their whole life. I find snail mail letters work better than E-mails when it comes to something like this. Let me know if they contact you. Take care.

-Dale

August 2, 2021

Hi zack! My name is Sebastian! I am a huuuuge padres fan. I love watching your videos and one day I wanna be just like you! In my ballhawking career I have collected 7 baseballs! I hope you read this! May you please go to petco park and try to get a Fernando Tatis Jr toss up? That would make my year! I love you Zack!

July 31, 2021

Hey Zack,

My son and I are big fans of you. We have tickets to Yankees @ Red Sox on August 24 … by chance will you be in the area, or at the game? We would love to meet you?

-Corey & Aiden

July 31, 2021

Hey Zack I’m a huge fan and I just want to let you know that I started watching your videos when I wasn’t in the best place mentally. I’ve always wondered how or why people say that other’s videos have inspired them somehow. I’m happy to say now that I understand where they are coming from after watching your videos on a regular basis. I find it truly inspirational on how you seem to take every situation you run Into and somehow make it positive. You always have a smile on your face in your videos and it’s so hard not to be happy while watching you achieve something no one else can say that they have done and have such passion for something so much that you find so much joy in what you do. You completely changed the outlook I had on life and showed me that there’s happiness in all you do but sometimes it just takes a little looking. I’m not as fortunate as you where I can make a career out of going to sports games hahahah (even though I truly wish I could) but I had recently purchased tickets for the Red Sox Yankees game at Fenway for September 25. I’m a Yankees fan from outside of Boston so this rivalry is even bigger for me on a personal level I feel lol, but all in all I’m hoping I get the lucky chance and honor of potential meeting you there as I know it will be a big game because I know my Yankees are going to push through this second half of the season and secure that wild card spot hahahaha. But on a serious note thank you for being you and for always striving just to live your best life, have fun, and take everything with a grain of salt. You’re an inspiration man.

-Cole

July 31, 2021

Hi, I am a big fan. My b-day is August 8, can you please come to the game on that date? I am going to be next to the Dodgers's bullpen. I would be happy if you came to the game. If I see you I will maybe call your name, or what you want me to do. It is at Dodger Stadium.

From a big fan Kaleb

July 30, 2021

Hey Zack,

I’ve been watching you for a few years, we actually met and talked for a few hours outside Nationals Park at the 2018 HR Derby wanting for gates to open. Any way I am a season ticket holder for the Chicago Cubs and I have bleacher seats. Was wondering whenever you’re in town if you want to snag some from me. I have Most games open for the remainder of the year. Or in the future for next year I can always get you tickets for you. It is VIP bleachers so you are able to get in slightly earlier than the general public.

Let me know.

Big fan, Adam

Hello Mr. Hample,

I am writing you today to ask a big favor. My 7 year old son is a huge sports fanatic, especially baseball. He plays in a house league and just made 8U travel as well. He is a huge fan of yours and watches your YouTube page daily, and I am not exaggerating at all. He watches Sports Center, MLB Network, and you. He is completely enamored with you and the amount of baseballs you have, especially catching Trouts 1st home run as well as A-Rod’s 3,000th. He turns 8 in September and I wanted to ask if there was anyway you could send a signed baseball that I could gift him? I’m sure you get tons of requests and cannot fulfill them all. I thought I would reach out and ask.  I’m only asking because he is such huge of the game and of you. He’s become more interested in card collecting too. He’s growing his own collection and I’m starting to share some of my old collection with him as well.

Sorry for the long winded email. I hope this email finds you well and you could send a signed ball to him (his name is Danilo).

Sincerely,
Drago

P.S. I follow you on Instagram because he asked me to so he can follow you there as well as on YouTube!

Hey Zack my name is Lucas and I am a huge fan of your videos and I love the stuff that you do and I can’t wait to see you one day at Yankee Stadium but I can’t go this year to see a game because my parents won’t let me but next year I can definitely come and I’d like to hook up with you one day and try to get some signatures from Yankees or definitely snacks and balls to but I really love your videos and I don’t want you to stop making them because it makes my day every day when I see a video come out and swim to reach out to you to let you know that I’d love to meet you one day and hang out, your fan Lucas

July 22, 2021

Hey man, I know your super busy and i’m sure your baseball game schedule is crazy. But if your ever on the east coast and headed down south to a braves game you really should take an afternoon and go to a greenville drive game in south carolina. There the boston red sox single A affiliate. The atmosphere is amazing. And it’s a good place to catch baseballs. I caught 6 last night. Also if you do i would 100% come that night so i could meet you. I’m probably your biggest fan to be honest . Have a good one! I look forward to your future videos and one day meeting you.

-Kenny

July 17, 2021

Hey I want to thank you for posting your Buffalo Blue Jays video from last season. I followed your lead, hung out on the street near the scoreboard during BP, and left with a ball. It’s a cool keepsake to have, especially since they announced they’re returning to Toronto an hour after I got the ball.

Thanks again!
-Andrew

Dear Zack,

My name is Guy. I am from Ocean City, Maryland. I am 15 years old. And I am contacting you to ask you for advice. I hope to be basically you when I get older. I go to Baltimore Orioles games and their Minor League affiliates, mostly the Delmarva Shorebirds. I have been going to games since I was 12 years old. My collection has grown and grown. I have about 22 Major league balls, and some where close to 60 Minor League Baseballs. Do you have any advice to increase my numbers? Or how to continue from where I'm at?

Thank you for you time and doing what you do.

Signed, Guy

Subject: Watch With Zack game

Hi Zack my name is Adyn, I am 15 years old and live in Austin Texas. I am a Rangers fan and have been watching your videos for about 3 years now.

Reasons for wanting to go to a game with you.

A week ago I was in the outfield stands of chase field and in the 5th inning CJ cron hit a home run that was right in my section. I underestimated the speed of the ball, and the ball landed 6 steps above me. The reason I say this is because I would love to learn how to approach a home run ball and set myself up for the best chance of snagging a home run!

Please reach out to me at this email I would love to make this happen, also I love your content and merch.

July 7, 2021

Hey Zack,

I’ve been a fan for over 5 years and have been watching your videos for as long as I can remember. I met you earlier this year at the Red Sox vs Mets game and it was one of the highlights of the game. This summer I’m going on a road trip with my dad and I was wondering if you know what games you are attending in the last week of July / First week of August. I only ask because I would love to meet you and Chris again assuming he’s with you at the time. Knowing you get tons of emails every day, no rush what so ever. Would just like the chance to meet you again.

-Lucas

Hey Zack!

My name is Porter. I’m a HUGE fan of your YouTube channel!!! I love all of the coverage you have of guys like Aaron Judge and Mike Trout batting. It is very cool that you caught Mike Trout’s first career home run and A-Rod’s 3,000 hit! My favorite team is the Yankees and my favorite player is Aaron Judge! I was wondering if you could please send me your autograph? I would appreciate it so much! Thanks so much, Zack! Keep up the great content! My address is below:

Hi Zack,

This is my son Brady and tonight we were celebrating the 11th anniversary of his 2nd life saving liver transplant. By taking an extra few minutes to say hi to him and take his picture, you made his night! I just wanted to say thanks and make sure you know how you can make someone’s day by taking a few minutes to take pictures and sign autographs.

He’s one of your biggest fans (wonder where he got the idea of his hat) and on the way home he said, “I can’t believe I got to meet Zack Hample tonight!” Thanks again for making this anniversary the best ever and enjoy your time in Minnesota.

John and my son, Brady

I want to thank you so much for such a  incredible magical night.  Matthew and I had a unbelievable night. You are so cool and so incredibly kind to all your fans. You amazed me how much of a great guy you are. I wish you all the success and happiness. You are definitely living out your dreams and have a special talent, especially on catching balls. I was so amazed how you caught that ball in right field. I can’t wait to see the video. It honestly amazed me.

Wish you a great rest of the summer!!!!

June 29, 2021

Hi Zack,

I hope you are doing well! My name is Mitch. I’ve been subscribed to you on YouTube for almost two years now and I really enjoy all the cool and unique content you create and upload. This might seem like it’s out of left field but I’m currently looking at tickets for the Mets and Blue Jays on July 25th and most of the tickets offered for the game are in even-numbered bunches like 4 or 6 tickets. I currently will have 5 people going including myself and since I’d have an extra ticket, I would be honored to have you join me for this game.

Now I know your normally have your “watch with Zack” games and I’m sure you’d probably want those rules to apply in this case and I figured that. But I’m just asking you flat out if you’d like to be a guest and have nice peaceful Sunday afternoon time at Citi Field?

If this doesn’t work out, I would just like to know if you’d be attending that game on your own terms?

Please let me know whenever you get a chance.

Sincerely,
Mitch

June 24, 2021

Hey, Zack! First of all, I hope you’re staying safe during these times and are having a great day! Your videos are phenomenal and I love watching them as frequently as possible. Keep all the awesome work up.

I live in Los Angeles, but I visit New York every summer and go to some Mets games a few times a year. I always like roaming around the stadium before the game/during batting practice, but lots of the time, the security guards get upset. I was wondering how you roam around different sections before the game, and how you get past the security guards?

Thanks,
Julian

June 22, 2021

Hey Zack,

My name is Liam, and I just finished my junior year of high school. I am so excited to become a senior, but that comes with added responsibilities. I need to write my college essay/personal statement to apply to colleges. The biggest idea that came to mind with this essay was writing about ballhawking. A little about me is that I am a right handed pitcher who plays for Team Beast out in Long Island. I've snagged exactly 207 (and counting) baseballs over 22 stadiums, with most of the balls coming at Citi Field. My essay intends to be written about some of your books I have read, some of your other tidbits and ideas inside a baseball stadium that help me understand baseball in a different way, as well as my personal experience with catching baseballs and my mindset throughout a game. I met with my tutor about this essay about ballhawking and he loves the idea, but he wants it to become more personable, how ballhawking is thought of as more than just a baseball, how it relates to your life outside of baseball, and where did you originally find this passion for snagging as many baseballs as you can? Thank you so much for responding if you can, and I've been loving the content you've been putting out.

Much love,
Liam

June 20, 2021

Hello Zack,

Let me start off by saying that I am a huge fan of what you do and think it is incredibly cool. I wanted to reach out to you because I watched your Q&A video on music. I thought it was really cool how you had a playlist with over 2,000 songs on it. I was wondering if you could send that to me or at least a list of the songs on it. I would love to use it when I travel because I travel a lot. Thank you for your time and keep up the great work!

Sincerely,
Reece C.

You have made me appreciate this sport even more. Thanks to your inspiration I am now starting to collect baseballs my self. Zack,

Hi! My son and I are becoming big MLB fans now that he is playing little league. In fact, he played for the Marlins the last two years and has now adopted the Marlins as his favorite MLB team.

We came across some of your videos on YouTube and thought that they were fantastic! He wanted to reach out and email you to tell you he’s a big fan and thinks it’s so cool that you have been to all those stadiums and collected all of those baseballs. We were just wondering of all the baseballs that you’ve collected, which is your favorite? Also, we wanted to know if you had a favorite stadium (majors or minors).

If you get a chance, let us know and keep the cool videos coming!

-Bill

June 17, 2021

Hi Zack !

My name is Allie. I was just reaching out to you to see if there was any way that I can buy a baseball that is autographed by you, or something of the sort, for my boyfriend’s 31st birthday, which is June 26th. He is a HUGE fan of yours, and I’m just trying to think of something to give him that is authentic from you, since it would be pretty much impossible to meet you (we live in the Tampa Bay Area). I already bought him tickets to the Ray’s game for that weekend, and I figured I would try to reach out to you to see if this would be possible to give him, as well. He is such an awesome person, and he is such a hard worker ! He’s a first responder in Manatee county, and I just want to make this birthday extra special for him as a way to show how much we appreciate him. I understand you are busy, and I know that you might not see this, but I definitely appreciate your time if you are able to respond to this. Thank you and have a great evening !

June 16, 2021

Hey Zack, my name is Caleb and I really think what you do is cool. It truly is an inspiration and hope to meet you someday. I live is Wisconsin so maybe I will see you at a Brewers game. I haven't been to an MLB game yet and have always wanted to. It would be great to see you at my first game but I know you have a busy busy schedule.

Anyway, just keep on catching man! Hope to hear back from you!

Sincerely,
Caleb

June 15, 2021

Hi Zack! Long time viewer here. I really enjoy watching your videos! I was just wondering if you have ever been to SEC Taylor Field or now Principal Park in Des Moines, Iowa? If so how many baseballs did you snag and overall what was your experience in Des Moines? I was also wondering if you were planning on going to the Yankees vs White Sox Field of Dreams game in August this year? I’ve always wanted to meet you but I understand how busy you are. Hope you have a great summer and continue to catch baseballs and pump out videos!

Best regards,
Sam

June 14, 2021

Dear Zack,

Yesterday I was at Target Field to see the Twins plays the Astros. My best friend had bought tickets for us in the club section as a Christmas present.

Here is story #1: My friend Pat is huge Dan Gladden fan and had been since Gladden joined the Twins in 1987. (Dan now does the radio broadcasts for the Twins.) Anyway, I was trying to think of a way to repay my friend for buying us these tickets and when he showed up at my house yesterday morning wearing the shirt you see in the picture, I knew what I was going to do.

The radio booth at Target Field is located in the club section, so I casually walked Pat in front of the booth before the game, got Dan Gladden’s attention and pointed at my friend’s shirt. Of course, Gladden loved it, talked to us a while from the booth and then invited us to meet him in hallway to have his picture taken with my friend.

There is nothing better than the sight of a 54-year-old man meeting his hero.

EXCEPT! You may like story #2 even more:

The game starts, we go to our seats and find that we are sitting down the aisle from two fathers who each taken their young sons (I’m guessing five years old at the most) to the game. One of the kids was pretty quiet, but the other one, named Jack, was chattering the entire game. Cheering for whatever Twin he wanted to do well, and maybe even more impressive, hollering “CHEATER!” every time Jose Altuve came to the plate (in spite of his father trying to quiet him down a little bit.)

At one point, a foul ball was hit in our area, and after a bit of a scramble, an adult came up with it and handed it to Jack. Of course we cheered that play. A while later I looked and saw that the foul ball was actually the FOURTH ball he had gotten that day. When I asked how, he said he showed up early to batting practice. When I asked if he got his skills from watching Zack Hample, his answer was, “I LOVE ZACK HAMPLE!”

Here’s you to you, Jack! And here’s to you, Zack!

Sincerely,
Kurt

Hey Zack

Hope your doing well. This is so last minute and sure you are booked solid. I know my son and husband reached out to you separately on Instagram. We are having my sons 13th birthday at Rockland Boulders this Wednesday June 16th. My husband and son watch you on YouTube and my son has started a  collection of balls. Anyway, if you are free give me some details my son and his friends would just flipped if you came by.

Thanks for your time

June 13, 2021

Hey Zack it’s Erynn.

I just wanted to personally send you an email and tell you thank you for letting me shadow you at Comerica last week. Watching the videos is one thing, but seeing you behind the scenes working is very enjoyable. I respect the work you do. Many people don’t realize what actually goes into YouTube, but I admire you and what you do.

Besides the fact that you robbed me of the foul ball (I’m kidding of course) I had a good time. I’ll shoot you a tweet when I finally get that first foul ball!

Thank you for signing my books, and having conversation with me. I hope that I wasn’t bothering you I tried to stay out of your way when you were doing what you needed to do. I watched the first video and I can’t wait for the other two. I don’t understand how people hate you because quite frankly you are the man!

I was wondering if there was a way we can stay in touch?

Thank you Zack.

-Erynn

June 13, 2021

Hello Zack

My name is Christopher I am from St. Louis and my favorite team is the Cardinals. Are you going to go to Busch Stadium this season? If so, I would like to meet you and be in your video and also do I need to pay any money to meet you? I have never caught a baseball and I would like to get one when I go to a Cardinal game. What is a good tip to catch a baseball?  Please give me some information on meeting you at a MLB game

Sincerely
Christopher

June 12, 2021

Hey Zack — I have seen you being interviewed before, but just discovered your YouTube channel and I’m loving it! Very much enjoyed the episode where you displayed your apartment in NY. It looks exactly what I imagine your digs would be. Very cool. It is fun to see someone unapologetically enjoy baseball as much as you do and your enthusiasm when you get a ball. Catching a ball never gets old, even after nabbing 11,000 of them.

Let me know if you’re planning to be in Arizona for a Diamondbacks game. I would like to attend a game with you.

-John

June 11, 2021

Just letting you know. I'm a young 70 yr old Yankee fan. I can still tell you the lineup for Ny in the 60s- 70s then lost track. In short your videos are a breath of fresh air to the baseball fan, I get a kick out of them and really I think you will get more notoriety as time goes on. Main question  for now- I am going toFenway in August. Can I use the glove trick or cup trick there? Any extra info is cool and thanks. By the way--SUPER interesting video of your family's bookstore. More people should know about that place. Nice goin and have fun!! GREG

June 10, 2021

I watched the utube about when you caught number 3000 from Arod. I am a huge fan of the game. A season ticket holder for many years, I eagerly await the start of the season. Last year, I sat outside Busch Stadium, by gate four , where I could see part of the field. No one respects the game more than me, and I feel strongly that if you caught that ball, it was your to sell or do whatever you please with it. I was at Busch Stadium 2 during the “great home run chase “ of 1998, and if I caught the final ball, number 70 , certainly I would have sold it. To me, a guy like A Rod , who certainly had the funds to pay for the ball was selfish to expect it backed . But, being the calculating guy he is, knew that he could get it back free, So yeah , I’m sorry for what you endured. Baseball is a business as well as a love, and I do love it.

Zack,

I just want to take a moment to thank you for letting Erynn (and me) hang out with you and Chris during these last two games in the Mariners series. You gave Erynn a great memory. She/we really loves what you do, the content you put out, etc. I have no doubt that you’ve influenced the way she approaches ball hawking, and respectfully interacting with players. Have a safe trip home. Good luck at Citi Field.

-Chris

Hi Zack,

It has been quite a bit since I last reached out to you and quite honestly because of how popular you've gotten over the last few years, you probably don't even remember me. If you need a refresher, I'm the annoying kid who used to nag you about bringing the blogs back (and yes, they do need to make a comeback). Hopefully, that rings a bell.

Anyway, I reached out to you because this summer I have taken a summer internship working with a TCL (Texas Collegiate League) team. My specific job is facility management and I'd love to give you a tour of the stadium and get you into a game. The stadium has such a rich history and the founders club parking lot located outside of the stadium is FOUL. BALL. HEAVEN. (don't park there of course). I don't want to make a promise that I can't keep but it's also a possibility that we can get you to throw out the first pitch. This could also be a great place to film a video for YouTube (or maybe even a blog ;)

Now, I know that coming down to Texas for this might not be something that'll make you jump out of your seats and sadly, I am an unpaid intern so I couldn't cover your travel expenses but we are about ninety minutes northwest of Houston, so if you are able to make it to Minute Maid Park this year, this could be a fun day trip for you.

I just wanted to show you that I am thankful for the overwhelmingly positive impact you've made on both me and the baseball community as a whole. These games are super fun and I know you'd love them. I know you are busy during the season but if at all possible, please reach out. I'll link to the schedule below. Also, let me know if there is any other information you might need.

Thanks again, Zack. I look forward to hearing from you.

-James

How can I get your autograph on a ball? Would love to have one! Love your videos!

Hi Mr. Hample,

My name is Harrison and I am a 14 year old boy from Houston Texas. I think that it is pretty Ironic that my favorite baseball team is the Dodgers and I live in Houston. I was wondering how you created the cup trick and Glove trick. I think that is very cool and want to make one for myself to use. I also wanted to say that I really want to watch a game with you, so I am saving up my money to be able to go. I am going into Highschool this year. I am going to be a freshman on the varsity team!! I think that is really cool. I hope to be able to watch some games at Minute Made or at Dodger Stadium where I can hook you up with free tickets. My uncle is the President of [job title redacted] for them. If you are ever planning to go to a Dodgers game, you know who to ask to get some tickets:) I loved your recent video of Citi Fields disgustingness. I am also going to be in Florida during July 4th week for a world series at Space Coast stadium if your in the neighborhood... I can't wait for your response!!

Sincerely,
Harrison

June 2, 2021

Hello Zack,

This is Blaine, and I am a Flex Member holder for the Mariners. Which has all benefits of Season ticket holders, including entering 3 hours early on Tuesday and Saturday nights! So if you are interested in attending a game or two in Seattle let me know and i can get you in early!

June 1, 2021

Hey Zack,

Just wondering if you plan on coming out to Chase this season. If you are, please let me know. I’d love to either join you or grab some food on me one of the days you’re out here. Your videos have been awesome this year and it looks like you’re having a lot of fun and catching a bunch of baseballs!

Best,
Jesse

May 31, 2021

Zack,

I emailed you awhile back asking you to be on my podcast. In the email reply you mentioned you were going to be in Minnesota on the 5th and 6th of July. Just reaching out to see if that is still the plan? It would be great to see you. I live 4.5 hrs away from Target Field but this is my first year owning flex season tickets. If you are going to be there it would be good to lock in some seats! Let me know your thoughts. As always keep up the great work.

-Preston

May 29, 2021

Hey, Zack!

Huge fan and you’ve been one of the best reliefs from the past year of COVID and having to be home more than normal. Gave me plenty of time to find your YouTube channel and get hooked!

I was wondering if you accept fan mail to receive an auto? I would love to add a signed ball and also the MLB logo umpire hat I bought like yours!

Keep spreading all the positivity! You’re awesome!

Best regards,
Jared

May 21, 2021

Hi Zack I am a 12 year old boy from California a big angel fan. I just want to say I am a big fan and look up to you, I love your YouTube videos. I recently went the the angles double header to day and snagged 2 baseballs the cool part is they are 60th year commemorative balls. I have 43 Mlb baseballs , a players broken bat. A big one Mike trouts game used batting gloves. Autographs I have Mike Trouts autograph, Shohei Ohtani autograph, Justin Upton, Jared Walsh and the rest of the angles team. I have a question should I start keeping records on who I get my baseballs from or is it to late, I don’t remember who gives my baseballs. I have one more question are you coming to any angel games at angel stadium if you are would you want to meet up. I emailed you a few years back asking you but that was on a different account. Thank you, Matthew

May 20, 2021

Zack,

My son Jack met you tonight at Wrigley & you autographed his jersey. He's a huge fan of your YouTube videos & I wanted to personally thank you for being so kind to him and his friend Nate. He was so enthusiastic to tell me everything about his encounter with you the moment he walked in the door and pulled his jersey out of his bag to show me your autograph. He actually told me all about you before he told me about his favorite player (Baez) hitting a homerun 20 feet from him & his pickoff at 2nd.

Thanks for making the game special,

-Ryan

May 3, 2021

Hey Zack,

I last emailed you on April 8 of 2019 (when I was 11), and since then, I’ve grown even more as a fan of you! I am now 14 years old, and am an aspiring sports broadcaster and writer. I just wanted to reach out and say how much of an inspiration you are. Whether you entertain people (like me) with YouTube videos, or whether you take time to take pics or sign autographs for people at games, you are one of the MOST fan-friendly YouTubers I know. And of course, you are one of the smartest baseball fans, which i'm sure you know (LOL).

Anyway, just wanted to say: Keep up the great content now that it is a new season!

P.S- There is a quote that I thought related to you: "If you have a bad day in baseball and start thinking about it, you will have 10 more." - Sammy Sosa. (So I guess, when you have a bad day catching balls, you don’t start thinking about it lol).

Sincerely,
Isaac

April 29, 2021

hello,

April 28, 2021

On the 14th of next month I’m going to the Brewers game. I don’t know where you are going to be but can you release a schedule or something when you go to certain stadiums? If you go on the 14th or whenever I’ll probably be sitting by the away teams bullpen. And this is the same kid that’s DMing you on Insta. Please respond if you can. I really wanna meet you. Keep up the good work, stay safe.

-Arthur

April 26, 2021

Hi Zack, I just watched your YouTube video in Philadelphia and I hope you're okay. You took quite a spill going for that home run and it did not look fun to run into the fence during batting practice. I hope the fact that you got some All Star baseballs helps ease the pain. As far as the face mask goes I think you do a better job than most. It is tough but we all have to stick it out and do what we can. Have you had your shots yet? Take care and give your mom a kiss for me, Stewart from Arizona

April 24, 2021

Hi Zack I am a big fan of you! I was hoping you can respond because it would make my day!
Thank You

Joseph

April 20, 2021

Hey Zack! I was just going to ask some questions and hopefully you can get to these. Recently, I’ve got surgery and I was just wondering when you might attend an Oracle Park or Colosseum game anytime this season so I might have a chance to catch you at a game. I’ve recently seen all of your 2021 videos so far, and they all look awesome. By the way, you’ve been very inspirational to me and made me start my baseball collecting back in 2017. Anyways, hope to see you sometime this season, cya.

-Jake

April 17, 2021

First off you are a blessing to one of the best sports around. But here are my questions . What is your all time baseball movie and why ? Second question how do i get to go to a baseball game with you because I am a die hard O' s fan. My third question is any one you wish you could have seen for example babe ruth or hank Aaron that you never saw play as a kid. Well again thank you for what you do for baseball.

-Alex

April 16, 2021

Hey Zack,

I caught up with you in Atlanta on April 13 at a game against the Marlins. We talked for a couple minutes. I asked you about the worst BP team you’d seen. Anyways, I’ve worked in tv for more than a decade. I’ve seen just about all of your videos and I can pick up things most others don’t in terms of editing and shooting. While I love BP, that night in Atlanta  I was more of a nerd to watch you and your photographer do your thing. I was so impressed. I really wanted to chat with you and the photog about what goes into the videos. You guys were understandably busy. Just yesterday, I happened to catch a couple minutes of you on an Instagram live and you mentioned you had to edit your video. I have a new found respect for everything you do. You’re a true professional and I enjoy watching you do your thing. Keep at it. If you’re ever back in Atlanta and need anything, feel free to holler. I’d be more than willing to do what I can.

Thanks,
Allen

April 14, 2021

Thank you for making my sons and his two friends night last night at the Braves game! They spotted you on the Kiss cam and went crazy. Thank you for being so kind to them! They will remember this forever!

I got it at my tech school  in Ohio... but anyways very soon for my graduation gift my dad and I are going to California to see all the major league games and I’d love to meet up with you. If you’d like to talk to me I can give you my number or you can email me! I hope I can chat with you soon. Also I’ve been to a few MLB stadiums such as the Cleveland Indians, St. Louis Cardinals my favorite team, Kansas City Royals, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Chicago Cubs.. so I hope you can answer my question.. thanks Zack! I hope you have an amazing day.

Sincerely,

Hey Zack huge fan of ur channel. I would love to do a watch with Zack game with you. The only problem is i am 21 years old and I wasnt sure if you only do it with kids or anyone. Im a Huge red sox fan so i would love to do it at Fenway. I've only got 1 baseball ever but i would love the opportunity to get some more. I would probably tag along my Mom, and my brother (14). My mom is a Yankees fan so if Fenway isnt best maybe we can set something up for Yankee Stadium. Anyway let me know your thoughts and if this could be a possibility. Happy catching baseballs this season!

April 6, 2021

Hey Zack!

Big Blue Jays fan here; I don't have a twitter so I'm emailing you instead. 98% sure that's bullpen catcher Nevin Ashley in that tweet from a few days ago. John Schneider ain't a bad guess either, but yeah I think it's Nevin.

Keep doing what ya do! Love everything you put out there!

-Kendall

April 4, 2021

Hey Zack! My name is Ben and I’m a HUGE baseball fan and a HUGE fan of your YouTube channel! I am 12 years old.I am wondering how you always attend batting practice at games. Do you have to pay extra to get in early? Do you just show up super early and they just let you in? Also, how early do you usually get to games? Thank you for all you do for your fans like me, and I hope to hear back from you soon! Bye!

April 1, 2021

Hey Zack, I hope you’re doing well during all this craziness. I wanted to check in with you now that baseball’s officially back on track with fans inside stadiums. I know it’s been a really long time since we talked but I was interested in doing a watch with Zack game at Citi Field/Yankee Stadium *without* necessarily doing a video, probably in late August or September. I know it’s early, but I thought it’d be good to figure it out sooner rather than later. Let me know what you’ve got going on, and if you think we can make something work.

Thanks so much!

-Ian

Hi Zack

My name is Rich and would love to use your services to come to a game with my 9 year old Cole and 8 year old Caden.  Are you coming to Minneapolis this year?  or close?  I originally saw you on the HBO Inside Sports shows and thought the 2 stories were awesome.  My kids watch your videos all the time.

I have 30 games right behind home plate or could get tickets wherever.  Would love to meet you and spend time with you at a game.  I have been to hundreds of games and have never got a ball but more important my kids would never forget this.

Can you give me a few dates that might work?

Thank you!

-Rich

February 28, 2021

Hey Zack,

First off, I just wanted to say that I am a huge fan and I have enjoyed watching all of your videos on Youtube over the years. I am a Braves fan down here in Atlanta, which seems to not be the most ballhawking friendly stadium, but I still hope you make it down for a few games in the upcoming season!

I have heard you mention a few times that you are currently scanning tons of old pictures, and that motivated me to do the same. My family and I have boxes and boxes of old pictures that we would love to have digitally. With that being said, what is the best way to do this? I am still searching for the best way to scan thousands of pictures quickly, but still have them be the best quality as possible. If you have any advice, recommendations, or tricks on how you are doing it, I would love to know. Thanks in advance, and I hope 2021 will be a great year for you and for baseball!

Sincerely,
Nick

They also play in Chicago on August 12 - August 15 . I have also read the frequently asked questions page on your website and was trying to see if you would be available for any of those dates.

Ryan

February 23, 2021

February 1, 2021

Hi Zack,

I love your videos. Do you remember going to first energy stadium in reading pa? I live 20 minutes from there so my home town Phil’s are famous thanks to you. But my question is are you in favor of having spring training start at the normal time ore pushing it back a month. I would like them to start normally so I can see you make the awesome baseball videos ( if they have fans) And also you apartment is super cool s one people might think it looks weird but I think it’s super creative.

Your top Fan,
Bailey

Zack:

Hello.  I hope you are doing well.  I have followed your story for more than a decade and have had the opportunity to run into you during batting practice in numerous baseball stadiums over the years.  I have been fortunate to go to 40 major league baseball stadiums, but only caught about 100 balls – but definitely have had some memorable ones.  My daughter is six and we have started going to baseball games together (at least pre-pandemic and hope that next year brings at least some opportunity).  Since she is getting into baseball we have developed our own fantasy game we play at the ballgames to keep her attention, go to batting practice to try and snag a ball, and then we more recently starting getting autographs at games.  During the pandemic, we have decided to take all my Sports memorabilia I have collected over the years (like Superbowls, National Championship basketball games, World Series, Wimbeldon, World Cup, etc) and have begun adding memorabilia for historical events that have shaped my sporting life. We are putting all of this together into our mancave (girlcave she says).  It has been fun having these discussions with my daughter.

Of course, you have come up in our discussions and your amazing story and she is so excited/amazed to see you sitting in the bathtub of balls.  I tried to find an autographed book of you online but couldn’t find any.  I would like to buy all three of your books (have them autographed), I already bought one of your 1/500 bobble heads (would love autographed) and then if even possible get an autographed ball from one of the games you caught.  We would arrange it all in a frame and it would be a great addition to our mancave.  I totally understand if this is not something you do, or don’t feel comfortable doing, but I didn’t think it would hurt to ask.  And I am willing to also send money for the autographed ball you caught at one of your games.  Note:  I promise I would never sell any of this, it is simply to put a great memory together for man/girl cave.

Just let me know your thoughts, I respect any decision that you make.  If you think this is something we can do than you can let me know the best way to get things to you.  Even if this doesn’t work out, I hope to see you at an upcoming ballpark in 2021!  Stay safe and healthy my friend.

Thanks,
Craig

Hello, Zack. This is Charlie from Montreal, Canada. I have seen good videos from you and, I am a fan of yours. How does it feel when you see Baseball Legends?. What is your favourite Baseball Stadium of all time?. When you travel other Baseball Stadium and you see other Ballhawking that you know, who is your favourite Ballhawking person of all time?. I notice that you do not collect other Baseball, would you still keep it?. When you travel to a Minor League, what is your favourite Minor League Stadium?. When you see some Food at a Stadium, what is your favourite of all time?. If Mike Trout would retire, who is your 3rd favourite Baseball player?. I want to say thank you for taking this opportunity to write this to you. Good luck on this journey of Ballhawking.

Hi Zack my name is Eli and I live in Pittsburgh and I was wondering if you are going to go to any games this year? If so do you have a estimate when you are coming to PNC so I can go when you come. I would love to come over and say Hi. I love your merch I have 3 shirts and your book. I am on the board for my life time I have 1 ball LOL. Your book really helped me learn how to catch baseballs but I got the book for Christmas last year so I couldn’t use the strategies from the book yet. I could go on forever but this will be my last sentence what is your favorite field you’ve been to ever?

Sincerely, Eli

December 27, 2020

Hey Zack,

This is Ethan

I just gotta say that my mom went to your merchandise page on your website and got me one of your “Throw me the ball please” shirts for Christmas and I am wearing it today. I am definitely gonna wear it when I go to a baseball game hopefully next year if I can. Have a happy new year.

Thanks,
Ethan

Hey Zack,

My 10 yr old son loves your videos. He thinks you’re the man. This year for Christmas he’s asked for only memorabilia lol. We’ve got him some cool stuff but I think it would be awesome if I could get you to sign a ball for him of course I’d pay you for it I think it would put a huge smile in his face and a nice add to his collection. Thank you for your time Merry Christmas.

Hey Zack,

I have recently found your videos on YouTube and I have to say that you are truly an amazing representation of an athlete who has created a unique way to remain connected to a sport that you love beyond your playing days. I am a huge collector of memorabilia that I have acquired through people I have met throughout my life. I would love to get your autograph on a jersey to include in my collection, and obviously meet you when the time comes around. Would there be anyway I could send something to you to sign, and pay for the shipping back to me? I can’t tell you how much I respect what you do and I look forward to seeing you achieve what no one in sport has ever done. I understand that you will probably never see this, however I will be a fan and supporter for life.

Kind Regards,
Dave Boyce

Hello Zack Hample,

I am writing this email in behalf of the kid that I am taking care of.

He is a lovely eight year old boy who is obsessed not just with baseball but also with your videos! During quarantine we discovered your youtube channel and ever since he enjoys watching your videos.

Your videos give him a sense of normality and security by showing him his favorite teams and stadiums. He used to go to a lot of games with his parents because we live in the Bay Area close to San Francisco and Oakland. He misses watching games and being in the stadium but your videos take him right back. Thank you!

The following text is from him (Julian):

“My favorite team is the Oakland A’s and I love baseball! I love your videos because I love to see the stadiums. I watch baseball all the time and we both like baseball! I miss going to the Coliseum and meet Stomper the A’s mascot! Oh and I love you!”

We wanted to say thank you, thank you for your videos and giving Julian a sense of normality! We hope that you are doing alright and wish you even with the pandemic a nice Thanksgiving!

-Daniel and Julian

November 15, 2020

Hey Zack I had to take the time to write you. I just wanted to compliment on still having such great quality videos during the pandemic. For someone who entertains by going to stadium to stadium to hawk baseballs and to not be able to go inside except at the end in Arlington, you still did a AMAZING JOB of entertaining and it was very impressive. I started watching you because my son always raves about your videos and it's great that kids all over the world can watch and be entertained and the amazing thing is your videos are like a pg rating and us parents can let our kids watch you and feel great about it and also you send out great messages talking how you don't drink or smoke. Thank you Zack for all that you do and keep up the great work!

-Todd

November 12, 2020

Hey there Zack,

Hope you and your family are doing well during this crazy pandemic we’re having.

My name is Travis and I recently tweeted you on Twitter about watching your Vlog on your trip to Scotland and England which was pretty awesome.

I first came across you on YouTube when I was looking for Fenway park videos. The videos you had done where you met Fenway Chris popped up and so I took a look and well since then I’ve seen most if not all of your videos and vlogs as well.

As a fan who has only been to two stadiums, though that was back in the 90’s and those stadiums being Angels Stadium and what’s now Rogers Center, it’s nice seeing the inside of the other major league ballparks. You do a great job showing off the stadiums to your viewers.

Hopefully next season, we can have a full 160 game season though Im guessing it’ll be a lower number and fans can watch the games....INSIDE the stadium instead of outside lol....though I know that won’t stop you from doing your thing.

Take it easy Zack and look forward to watching more of your videos. By the way I’m from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, up in Canada.

-Travis

Hi Mr. Hample. I just would like to say my daughters and I really enjoy your YouTube videos. We have watched you for sometime now and please keep the videos coming. I’m writing you to ask a favor and I completely understand if you can’t do it. I’m wondering if I could maybe buy an all star game ball off of you or a homerun derby ball. I’m a police officer in a small town. So being able to afford a ticket to those games is almost impossible. Again we love the videos keep it up.

Sincerely, Byron

Hey Zack.

I was hoping to meet you this past season at a game.
However Covid.
I'm 30. So you don't have to respond to this.
But I was wondering if I sent you one of these cards you could sign it with the amount of balls you have caught in it?
As you know Toronto dosen't allow fans for batting practice. And I can only afford 500 level tickets. So this would be a ball caught in my mind.

Thanks

-Carson

Hey Zack
My name is Jack. I am 13 years old and I am from Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey. I started watching your videos about 3 months ago. I never really knew who you were. I only saw you on this TV show Inside Edition, where they interviewed you about A-Rods 3,000 career hit. One day, I was so bored, so I went to YouTube and one of your videos(don’t remember which one) came up in my recommendations. So I was like whatever so I watched it. And I was inspired. You are so amazing with kids & you are so loyal. You give away almost all of your baseballs & I think that’s amazing. I love your determination to snag baseballs even though no stadiums are open. Your videos have taken over my life. You have really helped me through this tough time. I really hope I can meet you one day. I love your Q&A videos. I always laugh when people call you Zach. You are the perfect combination of funny, kind, bold, & inspiring. You have shown your true passion through your videos. You are literally my favorite ballhawk in the entire world. Thank you so much for being one of my inspirations. I really hope I get to meet you one day. I have yet to snag a Major League Baseball. Hopefully -one day. Thank you so much! Keep doubting the haters! I hope you get to read this. Much love!
Jack

Hey Zack; I’m a big fan, and watch all your videos. It’s nice to see all the ballparks and see you do your thing. I’ve been trying to find a signed ball online but only one on eBay. It’s not on an official baseball and like a true fan it’s not want I want. I was wondering how I could get a signed ball. I’m willing to donate to your charity. #pitchinforbaseball. Thanks so much.

October 13, 2020

Good morning Zack. My son John is a huge fan of yours. We ran into you in Toronto a few years ago and it was the highlight of his year (see attached images).

He noticed that you were at the game last night – which he assumed you’d be at.

I plan on taking him to the second game of the World Series on 10/21.  I have landed seats in the first row of section 243 in left field and hope that they are decent seats for getting a ball (which is his obsession after following you for years).

I’m not sure if you plan to be in Dallas for that game, but I would like to offer two tickets to you to join us if you were available and interested.

Could you please let me know if you’d like to be our guest?

I appreciate it
Good luck and stay well.

-Michael

Zack

I will be 69 in October, discovered your videos on youtube this week. Really enjoy them, and what you do in giving back to kids. In 1971 planned to visit several ballparks in the midwest, but engine blew in our car while traveling through Wyoming and that was end of the trip

Watching you visit all the parks, catch the foul balls, give back to kids, just the joy you have and what you bring to others is very uplifting in these times. Live in SF bay area, have had my share of baseball thrills with Giants and the A's. 2010 me and my best friend 50 years experinced the entire Giants playoff and World Series run, saw every game played in SF, it was magical

Baseball is magical and miss not being at the ballpark. Not about the game, it';s about the people, the memories, it's sport where you can relive you life. Opening the doors at Candlestick Park in 1960's for the first time seeing the field. Players were larger than life, you think you will catch a ball, i'm only 10,999 away from your 11,000

Wanted to share little, thank you for reminding me how much i ;love the game. My 70Th birthday will be next year, Oct 24th, and if their is a World Series game, just might be what i ask my wife for(unless Springsteen is playing somewhere)

Keep doing what your doing, when we get back to the ballparks, get out to SF and i will come assist you on the day, lol

Brad

Hello Mr. Hample,

My name is Max. I'm a HUGE fan of yours. I've been following you on all your social media platforms for 4 years now. I'm a freshman in college studying sports journalism. For my very first assignment, we've been instructed to create a multimedia blog article about something we want to research. I decided to use my current knowledge for baseball as well as my passion for sports to create mine about what makes every Major League Baseball Stadium unique and different from one another. One of the requirements for the assignment is to interview someone for your piece. What I am asking of you is to see if you would potentially be interested in a short zoom interview with me at a later date, just going over some of your favorite stadiums and which ones you like the best and why. I will come up with a complete questionnaire at a later time but I feel that you would be a great interview to have for my piece especially because your knowledge for baseball Is unlike any other. I look forward to hearing from you and potentially having you in my article.

Thank you so much for even looking at this,
Max

Good evening Zack,

My name is Kamrin who loves watching your videos. My brother and I are fans of yours and would love to present an invitation to you and a guest of yours to One Cardinal Way in St. Louis. After watching all you videos for this season, I believe you have one stadium you have to check of that list which is Busch Stadium. My family are huge cardinal fans and recently got a place in One Cardinal Way that looks directly into the stadium. We had to wait just about a year to move in since the building was being just constructed so now that it is finally baseball season it does not get better than this. Being able to watch the game from our balcony is unreal and being able to over look the stadium is an experience like no other. But it gets better, you can even go in the pool and watch the game as well as enjoy the amenity deck. The view is immaculate and does not get better anywhere else. I am going to provide some photos so you know, I am not legit and would love to get in contact with you about this opportunity. The cardinals play a 5 game series at the end of September and with them not playing back to back games until then, I would like offer an invitation for you to come up to our place to enjoy some baseball.

Below I will attach some photos so you can see I am being serious.

If you would like me to provide any other sort of photos or videos, I would be more than willing to do that. If you want me to provide more information on myself or family, I would be more than willing to do that as well. I will also attach my instagram so you know I am being serious. I will attach my phone number as well if you have any immediate questions.

I hope to make contact with you fro the chance for you to come up and watch some baseball games. Hope all is well under the current circumstances.

Thank you,
Kamrin

Saw your episode on Real Sports & was impressed by your story. I am 73 & had never heard of you, but was touched by your story. I was curious how you managed to survive in the early years, but clearly you figured how to profitably support yourself doing something that you love. That is truly the American way. You should think about writing a book about your life by getting a ghost author to hep you. I think it sells based upon the different nature of your personality. And don’t ever apologize for any of it. Thx, EJ

September 2, 2020

Hi Zack. I saw your story on real sports with Bryant gumble on hbo. I love baseball but haven’t been to a game in a long time, not just because of this stupid pandemic but because I haven’t found a special guy to go with me. When I have gone to baseball games (mainly the Yankees and Mets and Hudson valley renegades because I live in Westchester county) I’ve never caught a baseball. I would love to hang out with you and I think you are handsome.

Sincerely
Lauren

Hi Zack, I have to admit I never heard of you before until I saw you on Real Sports. I found what you do catching baseballs to be a true talent that you have mastered and I admire you for it. Good for you for making a good living by doing something that you love, that is the key to life. Best wishes, Mike

Hi, my name is Douglas and I have been a fan for about 2-3 years now. I know with all of this corona stuff going on you can’t really find a place to watch some baseball, but my home city of Toledo, Ohio has the Detroit Tigers alternate site in it at Fifth Third Field. And even though you can’t go into the stadium, I bet you could still get about 10 balls outside of the stadium and see some Tigers prospects like the #1 pick in this year’s draft, Spencer Torkelson, Matt Manning, Riley Greene, Dax Cameron, and Dillon Dingler. If you do come out to Fifth Third Field I would love if you made a video about it and show the whole world about the awesome field. Let me know if you want me to get you more information and if you do come out, I would love to be a part of that day as well.

Thanks,
Douglas

Hey Zack my name is Anthony I’m a huge fan of yours. I follow you on Instagram and I’m subscribed on YouTube. I was wondering how I can have a watch with Zack game? When ever you can please respond to this email. Thank you and stay safe.

August 24, 2020

Hello my name is Ian Goldstein and I am 15 years old living in Plainfield Illinois. I may be from Northern Illinois but I was born in Pittsburgh PA making me a Pirates fan. My dream is to attend the University of Wisconsin and get a degree in Marketing and work in Marketing for a major sports team preferably Baseball and in Wisconsin like the Brewers because I want to one day live in Wisconsin. (Madison to be exact) That is a little about me! Also I’m a Big sports fan in baseball, Football, and Hockey, sometimes basketball. I have just have to say I think it is really cool of what you do by catching mlb baseballs all over the world! Ive only attended games at PNC and Wrigley. I mean I know you are very busy and if you can’t respond to this Email I understand because if I was running around on a busy highway catching baseballs I would be busy too. So yah Bye and keep doing what you do my friend.

August 21, 2020

Hey Zack I am watching Real Sports. It kind of blows my mind that people can sort of shame you for being competitive in a sports arena by catching balls. Blows my mind. You’re an athlete. Keep it up and have all the fun you want.

Sincerely,
Vonnie

August 20, 2020

I just watched you on REAL Sports. I love your passion passion. It’s harmless, and those who shame you, are just not trying hard enough. I don’t follow any “celebrities”, but I admire your tenacity and I love that you’ve developed a science for catching balls. Your science is the luck that is the residue of design.

When you can no longer catch balls, you can teach that science to others. Loved your baseball mask. Stay safe.

-Koko

August 20, 2020

Hello Mr Hample,

I just finished watching the second story on you on Real Sports and as a fan who has caught two “in game” foul balls on the fly (not to mention a smattering of pregame balls) I am fully in support of what you do.

Of the 50 odd years I have attended games around the country I know that most balls hit into the stands are either dropped or hit a seat and bounce away.

I really do not think you are stealing a ball from anyone as the odds are pretty good they would have messed it up anyway.

If you have a moment I’d like to tell you about the two balls I caught. The first was on a Saturday afternoon “Game of the Week” at Dodger Stadium in 1976. The Big Red Machine was in town and I was sitting in the Loge section behind home plate. Ken Griffey Sr. who was only known as Ken Griffey back then fouled one back. Knowing that Vin Scully was only 25-30 feet above me calling the game made the catch even more exciting.

It was 41 years later that my second catch occurred. This was in the eighth inning of a game in May of 2017. the Nationals were in LA and I would make a point to see at least one of every visits Washington came to town in order to see Bryce Harper play. Since it was late in the game, as usual most fans had headed home. So the section I was in again in loge but a bit more toward third base than the previous time was quite light of fans. Harper hit a foul back and you can just tell when it is headed right at you. I had my glove on as usual and it was among the easiest catches of my life.

As you can imagine having 41 years between catches is memorable and to have notable players hitting them makes it even more special.

Keep up the good work and I will follow your adventures and hope to say hi to you some day when you are in Los Angeles at the Stadium.

-Ron

August 16, 2020

Hello, Zack! My name is Carter and I have watched and subscribed to your channel for about 1 year now. I like how you can still get baseballs in this crazy world!!

Anyways I was wondering if you could subscribe to my new youtube channel. I’ll be doing MLB Stadium Vlogs and recording all of the crazy and unique attributes each stadium in the MLB! Hopefully we could do a collab sometime soon! Also I was wondering if I could do a Q&A with you on Zoom or Google meet. If so, that would be awesome!!! It would help out my channel and yours a lot!!! Thanks for reading and taking time to consider all of this!

-Carter

August 15, 2020

I know you caught Mike Trout's first home run ball and I was wondering since I am a huge Mike Trout fan can I send you a photo of you and Trout and will you please sign it for me? You visited PNC Field in Moosic, PA a while back and I had to be in Lehigh Valley that day I would have loved to meet you. Thank you for your time Mr. Hample.

Hi Zack, I have been going to the boulder games for quite some time now and I would love to just see you there. I know a lot of good spots for fouls and homeruns and getting the balls from the umps. I was so sad to see that you went last night and I didn’t. I would love to know if you are going again.

July 29, 2020

Hello Zack,

My name is Conner and I have been watching your videos for the past couple of seasons and just wanted to write to say how much I enjoy your content. You've inspired me to begin recording the balls I get at games, although the games I go to are at Busch Stadium and Target Field, so I haven't really gotten that much action. Either way, thanks for the great content.

Now on to my question;

You probably have 0 clue as to what I am about to ask, but being knowledgeable about stadiums and their policies, maybe you could give me some guidance. I am thinking of going out to the Field of Dreams site in Dyersville, Iowa for the game between the Sox and the Cardinals and try to snag one that goes over the fence (ya know, seeing as no one can get inside). Do you think this is a possibility? Looking at the renderings, there doesn't seem to be any outfield seats, but I am more worried about security letting me around the ballpark. I go to school in Iowa, so the drive isn't bad, I just was wondering about your general experiences with niche games such as these.

Again, thanks for the awesome content you continue to put out, and I hope to see you out there in the stands sometime in 2021.

-Conner

July 9, 2020

To Zack

First and foremost I appluade you for being kind to kids trying to live the baseball dream with catching a ball at a stadium. At times they can't get it and you toss them a ball....bravo. Giving back is so important. May God always bless u .

I read all the info about meeting up and spending time documenting the memory. Pretty cool idea...I might be interested if the games allow fans back one day to normal.

I saw your u tube channel and I will be following you on instagram.

I would like to ask when you reach your 16,923 baseball in Citi field or Yankee Stadium could I please have the opportunity to purchase it.

Little back story to the numbers...

I am currently a police officer for a town in New York and my badge number is 169 and my radio number is 23 ......

I am retiring in 2023 season so I was thinking getting a baseball from New Yorks teams ( grew up with the 77 Yankees and switched over to Mets ) would be cool but it would be more special to get it  from a person who really loves the game and gives back to community.

When this becomes possible , please reach out....

By the way on most sundays you can catch me at Brooklyn Church of Christ

After 10 am ....blessings to you.

June 19, 2020

Yooooo Zack your one of my favorite youtubers. I will sadly miss my graduation because of the pandemic. Can you sign my virtual yearbook. This would mean a lot to me.

June 17, 2020

Mr. Hample,

My son, Zade, has been a true fan of the game since I took him to his first game at 3 years old (Busch Stadium) and I got a foul ball and gave it to him. He has asked and received about 6 balls over the past 9 years. It seems like the players throw fewer and fewer into the stands.

We live in Missouri and have been able to start playing travel baseball and it has been the best for the kids (and parents) to get out of the house.  We are always so busy running field to field and his birthday always sneaks up on us. Anyway, his 12th birthday is June 29th and we were actually home last night and he was watching your YouTube channel and out of the blue he said "it would be cool to have Zack’s signature on a baseball.” I asked him if you did this and he said I don’t know, but it would be cool. So here I am asking…if I mailed you a baseball could you sign it and send it back to him. I would be more than willing to pay any postage or any out of pocket expense that you might incur.

Thank you for your time. Hopefully baseball is back soon.

-Darin

June 17, 2020

Hey Zack

I don't know if you know about it but there is a Texas Collegiate League,  but it is a collegiate wood baseball league with 10 teams in Texas! There are also fans allowed! My friend and I who both watch all of your videos are going to meet at a game on July, 28 at 7:05pm CT in Round Rock at Dell Diamond! I am also going to a game in Frisco on July 5th at 7:05pm CT in Frisco! You should come to a game! It is real life in person baseball, and looks really fun! My friend and I would freak out if you showed up in Round Rock on July 28th to the game! Let me know if you can be there! I would really appreciate it!

Thanks,
Caleb

June 15, 2020

Hello Zack,

My name is Jaden. I am 14 years old from Armonk, NY. Ever since I could remember I have been obsessed with baseball. Playing, watching, even reading about it. Anything I could do to get closer to the game is what I would do. I remember watching the first video of yours in early 2016, where I think you were at Yankee Stadium. Ever since then I was hooked. You and Bobby Crosby were on my after school schedule, until you know what happened with him. After that you took over for the next 3+ years. I myself always wanted to catch baseballs but I usually would not get there early enough. My family rolled where we would get there at gametime and leave early. I was never a huge fan of that(this is an important part of the story, remember it). I would always watch your videos with my grandma and be like "I wanna be like him", you truly inspired me. It just so happened that they bought a house in Jupiter, FL right near the cardinals and marlins spring training facilities. I always was an autograph hunter so that's mainly what I did. My 10 year old self and my dad would get to the Cardinals and Marlins parking lot at 6 Am and wait for them to drive in and get their autographs. Usually we could only watch practice because my school's break was always early. One year the school break extended to where we could go to a game, I jumped at the opportunity. Back at home I would go to Jets game, and being the autograph collector I was would get there 4 hours early to get autographs, it took convincing but now it's a tradition. Once I even got a football on my birthday!  We drove all the way to Port St Lucie, about 45 minutes to go to a Mets Cardinals game. When we got there it was right towards the end of BP, and there was a longggg net that blocked off all towards the dugout. I ran up to the bleachers and screamed"Terry can I possibly get a ball please" he threw it up, but right to a 4 year old kid. He dropped it, and I picked it up. My first ball and i thought I had to give it away, which was not a great feeling but i knew it was right. When I offered the dad the ball for the kid he said "You asked him for it, so I'll let you keep it" I was ecstatic. It got me hooked. That was the first time I felt attached to the game. Autographs are great but having something used was amazing. After that the game started, and I was right by the dugout. Curtis Granderson fouled a dribbler to Tim Teufel, I asked for the ball and he delivered! My lifetime total was at 2, and it stayed that way for a year. Then I went to a game with my family, for Jeter's jersey retirement which also was legends day. I had club seats so I thought my chances were slim. It was also a double header vs the Astros. I chose the aisle seat after watching all your videos, that came back to hurt me. In the middle innings there was a foul ball and it went right over my grandma's hands, oh well. I got a few balls at the Cardinals practices, and one was from Adam Wainwright which was cool. But now my ball hawking story's end. I'll tell you some autograph stories though. Like Ichiro almost ran over my foot in the parking lot, and so did Chris Carpenter. I had to ask Jose Altuve for an autograph in Spanish for him to respond. Also had Marcell Ozuna curse me out in spanish after my paint pen got on his clothes. I have met players like Jeter, Mariano, about the whole cardinals team for the last 3 years, Yelich, Jim Edmonds, Altuve, correa, springer, and a bunch of older players like Jim Palmer and Bo Jackson. A lot of stories that I can share at our future Watch With Zack Game! When I would watch my videos with my grandma, I always told her I wanted to go to a game with you. I was really young and she said to wait until I was older for my birthday. Unfortunately she unexpectedly passed away in 2017 just months after the Yankee game. I am now going on 15 in September, and feel I am old enough to where I would be trusted to walk around a stadium alone, as long as one of my parents are there obviously. That brings me to my point, can you explain how a watch with zack game goes? I have seen the videos but i do not know if that is all that really happens. If this dream becomes reality, I would hope for it to be a Mets vs Cardinals game, but with this years MLB on hold it very well could be next year, or just a Mets game this year as I prefer that stadium to the one in the Bronx. I would wanna catch balls, but possibly go for an autograph or two. I also will be bringing a special gift for you, but first need to know what you favorite colors are. I appreciate you and your videos. I will also be writing you a letter because I would assume you would see it before an email.

Thanks so much and stay safe

-Jaden

Hey Zack! I’m a huge fan of you! I have been a big fan of the twins for a long time now too! I love to collect autographs through the mail and in person and I’ve gotten a couple cards signed by you through the mail as well! Anyway, thanks for all you do and, if you ever had time to make a personalized video just saying hey to me, Caden, that would make my day! Thanks for all you do and stay safe out there!

Your biggest fan,
Caden

Hello Zack, my name is Robert, I am 23 years old and autistic(Related to Aspergers) and I live in the UK(one of the rare UK American Sports fans).

I've met several famous athletes from different sports, including F1 Driver Lewis Hamilton and Rugby player Ben Cohen. I've never met a baseball player before, but if I would it would have to be the late Jackie Robinson or Tom Seaver. As his number is 41 like the car from Daytona USA,

Talking of which, I hear you held the record for the game Arkanoid. I like arcade games as well. particularly classics like Ridge Racer, Daytona USA, Pac Man and Galaga, they don't make them like they used to.

Anyways I've spoken to another baseball fan who is a good actor in video games, his name is Eddie Frierson and he's in Ace Combat 5. He played Christy Mathewson in the one man show Matty. I'm sure you might have heard of it.

I have a cabinet of speed in my house, featuring several Baseball Caps that aren't related to Baseball, signed by F1 Drivers.

Finally my brother in law to be, next year, hopefully if everything goes to plan(My sister is getting married to him), is a big cricket fan and he actually works for a cricket company. I've been chosen to be his best man.

I like the Brewers because of Jackie Robinson and because I have a pen pal who also has autism who lives in Rural Wisconsin, and Mets because of Seaver.

Hope you are doing well.

-Robert

Hey Zack, I’m a big fan from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I know we are in a major pandemic at the moment and are unsure on the future of the season. I was wondering about flying you out to a braves game in the future (this season hopefully or possibly next). Thank you!

May 29, 2020

Hi,
I was wondering if there is a way I can buy the bobble head that was supposed to be a giveaway at the reading Fightin Phil’s game? My husband is a huge fan and was looking forward to going but the game was canceled. If by chance you have one I can buy for him for Father’s Day that would be so nice. Thank you
Susanna

Hey Zack,

My name is Dan and I am a recent graduate of Temple University. We briefly had the opportunity to meet back in 2017 when the Mariners were in Philadelphia, both a screenshot of me approaching you in your video and the selfie we took are attached in this email (my two friends who I attended the game with can be seen trailing behind me in the screenshot).

I have been a fan of your work for years. At first, I had the standard amazement that I'm sure you're used to at this point. "I've been going to baseball games for years and never get any baseballs, how do you have thousands?"

Then it expanded to when you went through the entire process of A-Rod's 3000th hit. Getting a foul ball or a batting practice home run is fun, but then there's no additional drama. Catching one of Major League Baseball's most notable milestone hits came with the baggage of suddenly the entire world becoming an expert on the morals of returning a baseball to a professional athlete. No matter what you decide, it's the wrong decision. For the record, I thought taking time to think it all over and involve charity was a wise choice.

In fact, some of my favorite experiences that you've documented in your videos over the years are instances in which you catch a player's first career home run. The interactive nature of baseball allows for scenarios that no other sport could ever have happen, putting the fan in the driver's seat and many probably have no idea what they can realistically negotiate for.

Very recently, while quarantining with my parents and 18-year-old brother at home, I've gone on a number of different stretches of watching a variety of your videos in a row on the TV in our living room. As a lifelong Phillies and overall baseball fan who played the game through high school, I'm determined to get my fix of America’s pastime these days one way or another.

When I first explained to them that I'm watching a video of a famous fan who's snagged more than 11,000 baseballs at Major League games, my family both couldn't believe that was possible and questioned why anyone would ever need that many. The more videos I decided to watch, the more they understood what drew me to you in the first place.

However, as I've learned and explained to them, it's not really about just having the ball, it's the journey to get it. Studying bounces off advertisement boards, scoping out unfilled sections/security measures and breaking down stadium configurations is all stuff that’s really cool and I’m super fascinated by all of it. While I am not a ballhawk myself, I enjoy learning about the in’s and out’s. Some of my closest friends are regular members of the Philly autograph community and there's a number of similarities. Discovering what hotel a team is at, waiting outside of stadiums and doing investigative work on which players sign frequently and which don't. It's a game within the game and it requires strategy. A baseball or an autograph is just a trophy for that work.

Changing gears a bit, I was diagnosed with Aspergers as a child and while I am considered to be high-functioning today as a 22-year-old, I've never been afraid of having interests that are a little different than what society might consider to be the norm, especially when it comes to sports. "What do you mean you want to go to the movies with everyone on Friday? Aaron Nola is pitching, we can't miss that." "Who's getting married in the fall and who are the Eagles playing that week?"

I view it as a blessing, not a curse. Judgment of my personal decisions and childhood drama always plagued my friends and I’m a firm believer that my Aspergers provided the blissful ignorance I needed to get through some tough times. It takes a certain type of person to pursue a life as a ballhawk or, in my case, a sports broadcasting/journalism career. My current plan is to begin life as a producer at 94 WIP FM in Philadelphia once COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted. It won't be the 9-5 jobs all of my friends who went to business school will have and it certainly won't be medical school like my Jewish grandmother has politely suggested, it's going to be showing up to work in the middle of the night for less money. Fortunately, I have supportive parents who have backed me in my somewhat crazy dream ever since I was in elementary school. It's a lifestyle that's "different," but I wouldn't have it any other way.

In a weird way, I feel like I have a certain connection to you and the life that you live. I have a great deal of respect and admiration for individuals like yourself who are so successful at keeping up with trends and continually branding yourself on various online platforms. It's certainly vital in the sports media world that I am pursuing.

You also remain incredibly youthful in a creatively decorated NYC apartment with a 300+ pound rubber band ball and have made a life of snagging baseballs, I'm sure explaining your career to relatives never gets old. Fortunately, it definitely seems like you've had a supportive mom throughout your entire journey.

Additionally, while poking around on all of the available YouTube clips from your HBO segment a few years ago, your mom mentioned in one of them about how as a child you were always labeled as "different" and oftentimes struggled in social situations but now, you're loaded with friends in a great/"different" life that you're perfectly happy with. (Unrelated, I have an Xfinity account with an HBO subscription and I can't find the full segment for the life of me, any advice you may have here would be clutch).

I was wondering if by any chance, with the extra time we've all been unexpectedly hit with, you'd be willing to have a conversation on Zoom at some point, even if it's only for a couple of minutes? There's so much I'd love to ask and pick your brain about if given the opportunity, my natural curiosity is what led me to the whole journalism thing to begin with. This wouldn’t be for any kind of project and the contents of our conversation would never be published anywhere, it would just be two guys talking informally over video chat.

So sorry to go on for so long, I'm sure you get tons of emails and I thank you for taking the time to read this. My availability for the foreseeable future is pretty wide open, so if by chance you do think we could find a time to chat, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much,
Dan

My twin brother and I live in Las Cruces NM, just down the road from the San Diego Padres AAA Affiliate! This March my brother and I planned a week long trip to Arizona to visit every spring training  stadium out there. The very first day of our trip, our flight was cancelled which started our trip to a sour note. We drove to Arizona still super eager to knock off our bucket list item of visiting every stadium (including spring training). The first day we watched the Dodgers vs Brewers @Camelback and it was a gorgeous stadium! I included a picture of my twin and I enjoying the stadium! The very next morning Thursday the 12th, we woke up early super excited to see Sloan park. On the drive to the game, we heard the news all operations are shut down due to COVID-19. We were heartbroken to say the least, but this is when we started our binge of your videos. Even found the ASMR videos for those long days at work. Your videos is what keeps our happiness going through these dark times without baseball. We feel like we are in the stands with you tracking home runs when we see your videos. Please keep posting and if you are ever down in El Paso, TX please feel free to reach out! Maybe catch a Chihuahuas game, that’s another stadium you can catch some balls for your videos! Thanks Zack

-Andrew

May 21, 2020

Hey zack I just want to say what an inspiration you have been for me becoming a ball hawk I currently have caught 237 balls I’m coming for ur record. I also really love how much u love and respect the game of baseball and I really thought it was awesome when you purposely broke ur consecutive game streak just so u could enjoy the game of baseball

-Owen

May 18, 2020

Zack,

Early on in your ballhawking career, did you ever think you would get sick of it? I do not mean this in a negative way, but did you ever think you would get as into it as you are now where you go to at least 80+ (sometimes 100+) games per year? It has been great to see you grow so much over the years. I think I first discovered you in 2014 after your Wrigley Field video. I have no idea how many subscribers you had then, but definitely a lot fewer than the 480K you have now. I especially liked it when you would go to Seattle or Toronto because those places were far from me. Another question I have for you is how were you able to attend so many major league games when you were so young? For example, in 1992 you were 14 for most of the season and you went to 80 games. Then the next year you went to 85 games. Perhaps your family had season tickets. I hope you are staying safe during these times.

Best wishes,
Brendan

Hi Zack,

I think i hear your voice more than anyone else’s in my house. My 10 year old, Maxwell is a huge fan. We have been fortunate to have been able to start his personal baseball collection (mostly autographed). We are in LA and have the fortune of having friends who have the dugout seats that he lets us use.

My first hands on experience of your influence when we went to a Dodgers/Diamondbacks game last season and caught batting practice. Maxwell ran up to the field just started yelling “hey! Ball!!l” and was getting ball thrown at him.. next he ran over and started calling players by name and getting them all signed. Adam Jones even gave him his batting gloves.

So you have to understand... me and his mom are NOTHING like this... so I asked him how he got so bold and he said “Zack Hample does it”... So thank you for being a good influence for a shy kid to step out of his shy shell and do everything I was too scared to do as a kid. Hoping baseball comes back soon and if you ever come to LA for a Dodgers game, i would love for Maxwell to meet you!

Stay Safe!
Pablo

May 13, 2020

Hello Zack,

I am a thirteen year old boy who has been watching you for some time now. I have even met you once at Yankee stadium. I watch your videos all the time, and I am subscribed. However, I am not going to talk about how awesome you are in this email. I am inspired by your generosity with pitch in for baseball and softball, and was just curious if you could give me some tips about starting my own fundraiser? I feel like every person who wants to play the great game of baseball should get the chance and the right equipment. It would be an honor for me to start a fundraiser to help kids who are in need of some baseball gear. Maybe you could also dedicate one of your weekly videos to show us kids AND adults some tips to get us started. Lets get kids the gear they need!

Your biggest fan,
Dylan

Hello Zack!
I'm Billie, I'm nearly 15 and I'm from the United Kingdom.
I am a huge fan of yours! I love watching your videos.
I am a huge fan of the Yankees, though I have sadly never been to any baseball game, it is my dream to see a game and catch a baseball like you do.
I also really love your merch, but I unfortunately can't afford any as I do not have a job.
It's so satisfying watching you catch baseballs, it really highlights my day.
Keep on being you Zack.
Thank you.

-Billie

Hey Zack just wanted to say big fan. I have been watching your videos since 2015 and have loved them ever since. I love watching your YouTube videos everyday they bring me such joy. You inspired me to try ballhawking. I’ve only caught one ball(a tossup from Max Kepler on the 14-12, extra inning Twins vs Yankees game. It was a warmup ball), but you’ve inspired me so much. I love your videos so much and hope to see you at target field or anywhere sometime. I would be so excited if you emailed back but no pressure to, I know your busy a lot. But it would be awesome If you email back. But yeah once again big fan and thank you.

Thanks,
Matthew

You are so nice, and we have all been inspired by your videos during quarantine! I would like to know where to send fan mail, and who is your favorite team? I am amazed on how much effort you put into all of your videos!

-Blair and Sam

May 4, 2020

Hi Zack Hample, I love your youtube channel and have recently noticed that you have a tiktok account. One thing that I noticed while watching your videos was that you have not posted any videos in Minnesota recently that I have noticed. In one of the videos at Target Field I noticed that you mentioned you got some foods that are big at the state fair. I would like to suggest that if you have not been to the Minnesota State fair you visit it before a game in the next few years a few days before labor day. The atmosphere at the fair is fabulous and there is too much stuff to do than can be fit in one day (probably even in a week). Keep doing what your doing. - I hope your doing well during the quarantine.

Sincerely,
Julian

April 27, 2020

Because of you I’ve now got into baseball.

As a guy in Stoke-on-Trent in England the sport has passed me by. I’ve now watched your videos and love the game!

Thank you for sparking something in me. I want to get to the US soon (when the corona nonsense has gone away!) and try to catch an official league baseball.

Thanks again.

-Dan

April 26, 2020

Hey Zack! If you can read this I wanted to let you know that I’m a subscriber and I watch videos with the glove and cup trick all the time, so I decided to try it for myself...and it worked! I do it all the time now to practice for actual baseball games but sadly there isn’t any, i also think it’s really fun to do. I love your videos and I wanted to go to a game you were at to meet you. If you could send something back that would be awesome!

From your fan Drew

April 26, 2020

Hello Zack This is Daniel, and im maybe the biggest fan of u in South Korea!! As we all know, this COVID19 is ruining the people’s pastime, especially(?) our Baseball  The thing is, as u might know, the Korean Baseball League (KBO League) will be opening next month without crowd, and the preseason games are already played!! Thus, I guess that KBO League would be opened to the crowds earlier than the MLB, and the Japanese League  As a fan of u, i have watched ur trip to Japan and watching their own league, or the Ichiro’s last game!! So i wonder and recommend u to maybe visit Seoul South Korea, and enjoy the Korean version of professional baseball league!! The quality might not be same as the Big league, but I gurantee u that the Korean league is one of the most entertaining league compared to any sports league!! Thx for reading!!! From Seoul, South Korea

April 24, 2020

Just saw your Boise Hawks video. I was a season ticket holder and hosted several players ! Loved your behind the scenes video. We loved going to the games... great summer fun !!

Hi zack My name is Ross and I watch all of you're videos hope all is well stay safe

April 19, 2020

Hello Zack,

I really enjoy your videos on YouTube. I was just watching the 2016 San Diego Home Run Derby video, I was on the porch right behind your section. Trumbo and Stanton hit some bombs out there! That trip to San Diego was part of my '30 in 33' ball park tour, not quite on the level as you but it was a great experience.  Take care and hopefully we'll be playing ball soon.

-Garnet

April 15, 2020

Hey brother, keep up the great work and living the dream. We are probably the same age (July 1977) for me and I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your story about your championship ring (one ring to rule them all). Man Zack you are the Jimmy Buffet for us Day Dreaming Baseball fans. You are really owning life lol, your place kicks but, you spread joy and cheer to young men across the nation by giving baseballs out at the stadiums you catch. When ever you’re feeling down brother just remember these things you accomplished, how many people can say they went to Japan for opening day, than took the time to make a video sharing your experience from a fans perspective, I use to live in Philly but moved to Phoenix for Mom, whenever you find yourself out here I’d love to treat you to a dog and beer. I’m just thinking, you probably have thousands of people buying you Dogs and beer lol. Keep up the great work and thanks again for the stories.

-Kris

Hi Zack, My name is Joe. I am a 15 year old boy from Toronto Ontario. As to you I share an endless love of baseball. For the past few years I have been following every one of your videos analyzing when you will possibly be in Toronto to insure my arrival at said game and to meet you. As you can see I have liked every single one of your instagram posts aswell as been a long time subscriber to your YouTube channel, I have even watched every video. Rewatching your videos throughout the quarantine keeps my spirits alive knowing that when baseball is back Zack Hample videos will be back. Hope you have a great day man. Sincerely a lifetime fan of yours,Joe

April 9, 2020

Hey Zack
Hope you are surviving this corona virus ordeal and most importantly hope you and your family are healthy and safe. I stumbled upon your YouTube channel and became fascinated watching it. I’m a former tv sportscaster who fell in love with baseball as a kid and was lucky to make it a career. It’s interesting that you have found a way to do the same. In addition to tv, i also coached high school baseball for many years. I left broadcasting and now am a high school athletic director and basketball coach. I found two of your videos particularly interesting....the scary fall you had while trying to catch a ball - ouch!!! Glad you are ok. That looked scary. The other was the Pirates bullpen catcher. What an ass he was and is. I can’t stand people, especially a BULLPEN CATCHER, who don’t understand how blessed they are. Back when i was in broadcasting, i would always grab two balls and give them to kids on my way back to the booth. I also like that you give a lot of your balls to kids. Anyway, good stuff Zack.

Best,
Bob

April 7, 2020

Hi Zack! That is a super cool ring. You have been an inspiriation to me for a long time. I have always wanted your autograph, and I have always hoped I would catch you at a game but never have. May you please send me an autograph? If you don't, I understand. Thanks for being my hero! Nick age 11

April 4, 2020

Hi Zack - we’re big fans of your videos and my son Zach would love for our family to go with you to a Yankee game if this season is ever able to start or whenever we can do it.

We hope you are staying safe and healthy!

-Stacy

April 3, 2020

Hey Zack my name is Shlomo, just wondering when your coming to L.A. cause I’m going to be at the dodger game vs the reds on April 16. Left field btw.
Hope I can see you there.

Sincerely,
Shlomo

April 2, 2020

Hi Zack,

My name is Megan. I have 2 boys who are HUGE baseball and ZACK HAMPLE fans!! They are ages 13 and 10. We are from Kansas City. Both boys follow you, watch all your videos, and pretty much know everything about you and baseball. Pretty impressive all of the balls you have caught! My boys started doing the same and have quite a collection themselves.

I heard you make appearances at baseball games for birthdays. Obviously this is not the time to schedule a game with you, but I wanted to reach out and see if you are available around August 24th with the hopes that baseball will start up again. I would love for you to come to KC if the Royals are playing that week. Please let me know details of what you do, pricing, etc.

Thanks and stay healthy!

-Megan

Hello Zack my name is Andrew I Am 24 years old and I am the creator of [my own] YouTube Channel

It has been a very sad time with us Baseball fans considering that I spend most of my money per year on MLB and the NFL

Sadly since I have MLB TV I am upset that I cannot watch the action out of market or watch my in market games in NY from the Mets Or The Yankees

I want to say keep faith Zack because watching your videos has given me hope that we will be enjoying Baseball Again it’s not if but when we are all catching Baseballs Again Watching Walk Off Wins Seeing Homeruns or A No Hitter/Perfect Game

Hopefully when this Crisis is over we can catch a game at Citi Field I’m a big Pete Alonso fan so I was hoping to see him again this year and in fact last year I was lucky enough to see Jason Vargas last start with the Mets before he was traded to Philadelphia and I even got to see the Pirates take batting practice

I would like to hear from you soon and maybe we will see each other in Flushing this year

March 30, 2020

Amazing videos man!

I recently moved from Miami to NY and saw a few videos of you wearing a Black MIA 2017 all-star shirt. It's super cool and wanted to know where I would be able to find one. Any details or recommendations?

Thanks man. Keep up the great work you are doing

-Andy

March 27, 2020

Zack,

Got an 8 year old son who absolutely loves watching your YouTube videos and talking about your accomplishments and I love hearing him talk about them. If you could hear the awe in his voice, it would make you smile. We live in OKC and watch the AAA Dodgers. He started following you last year and began his quest to get balls at the games. He’s got several balls tossed to him by players and he even snagged a Gavin Lux home run ball. He really wants a MLB baseball. Would you be willing to sell one of your MLB baseballs and autograph it for him? I would be happy to pay for the ball and all costs associated with shipping it. Thanks.

Respectfully,
Derek

March 26, 2020

Hi! I’ve got two boys - ages 9 and 11 - who love baseball (nearly) as much as you. We purchased them VIP meet and greet tickets for your appearance at the Reading Phils on April 25th as an Easter gift and realize that game is unlikely to happen.

Do you have an autographed photo we could purchase or could you make a video clip saying hello to Tim and Patrick? They are especially missing baseball as we are stuck in the house and we are back to the drawing board for an Easter bunny gift!

Thanks for anything you can do to surprise our boys!

Sincerely,
Jessica

March 26, 2020

I have been watching you’re videos for about 2 years now, and I have to say they have gotten me through some hard times in life and I have to say thank you for doing what you do, it makes life easier at times to just watch someone having fun like you do, from Eugene oregon with much love and thanks- Marcus

March 26, 2020

Hey Zack,

I first emailed you 2 years ago, around this time(start of baseball season) when I was 11 years old, about when you were coming to Miami(where I live) during the baseball season. Then last year, I emailed you around this time again, on when you were coming to Miami. Now, this year, I was going to email you about when you were planning on coming to Miami, so that after all of 2 years of trying, I could finally meet the legend that is Zack Hample (a.k.a. you), but obviously that is not possible because of the current pandemic. Anyways what I wanted to tell you is that during this quarantine, I've been watching a lot of your old videos, and it has really been making me happy in such tough times. I just wanted to thank you for being such a great spirit, and one of the most heartwarming people in the world. Your spirit is soo great, and every time I watch your videos, it puts a smile on my face. Also, if this baseball season does end up happening, I was wondering if it would be possible for you to let me know when you are coming to Miami.

Thank you soo much,
Mateo

Zack - we are sitting at home during this Coronavirus lockdown watching videos of you at all the different ballparks. My son Tony is a huge fan of yours. We live in Texas and are planning on attending the new Arlington stadium once everything gets back in order. When will you be attending the nee stadium? It would be so awesome to meet you.

Thanks for the entertaining videos to get us through these tough times. Take care and be safe!!

Hi my name is Evan and I am 13 years old. I was scrolling through your Instagram page and saw that you sign things that people mail to you. I would like to send something but I don’t know where to send it. And I knew if I asked for your address it would be totally creepy but I don’t know where to send like a baseball or picture to you to sign. Just tell a location I could send something like that to you.

March 21, 2020

Hello Mr. Hample, my name is Caroline and me and my brother wanted to know how we can send you some baseball cards to autograph, my cousins birthday is coming up soon and he is a huge fan of yours! He lives in St. Louis, and, like us, is a huge Cardinals fan. (Even though we live in California) Yesterday my aunt sent me a video of him doing your glove trick in his house. He is five years old. This summer we went with him to a Cardinals game at busch stadium. I got a toss up, so did my brother!! We are 12 and 9 years old and have been watching your channel for over a year. Brady got a baseball too. We also go to Cardinals Dodgers games when the Cardinals come to LA. Do you have any tips for getting autographs and catching baseball at Dodger Stadium and Busch Stadium? Hey Zack, big fan here, was just wondering how long it usually takes to ship your merch. I ordered a shirt a few days ago and wondered how long it typically takes to come in. Thanks and appreciate it.

Hi Zack,

My name is Amy and I am the mother of Max. Max is Autistic so this is why I’m writing to you. Max is 17 and is “obsessed” with watching you and your you-tube videos. I have no “clue” how he found you but loves watching your video’s over and over and over and having me print out pictures of you and your different baseball hats and balls.

Max is a “huge” fan of baseball and likes “many” teams.

We live in Northern VA and go to the Nationals games at least once a year.

It would rock this boys world if you would write back to him. We just went on your website and since it said you use Instagram and Twitter more than email, his sister just helped him set up an Instagram so he could direct message you. Since we are homebound due to the Corona Virus this is how Max chose to use his time. If your ever at a Nationals game or in our area we would love to have the opportunity to meet you.

Stay safe ,
Amy and Max

Dear Zack, you are my favorite YouTuber ever. I watch all your videos and I have read all your books! I’m 12 and love catching baseballs although I have only caught 1. Even though I know the schedule is all messed up because of the virus, do you think you could let me know when you’ll be at Camden Yards or Yankee Stadium? I’ve always wanted to meet you so maybe I could  do Batting Practice with you? I know it’s a stretch but it’s worth asking since your my favorite! Thank you for being such a great content creator and hopefully I can meet you soon!

From, Ian

Hey Zack,

Haven’t been a baseball fan until your YouTube Channel when I found it in 2019. Your shows help me with depression. I’m a workaholic and that doesn’t bring anything. You’re welcome to crash at my pad for whenever that game is in Arlington. We can get free Lexus parking. I do ask for a Cactus League ball since my parents live by the reds spring training and I want you to sign it so I can put it in my office.

Thanks for great shows and for helping me. I work in hotels and have 1,400 hotels I lead so I can provide discounts worldwide.

Have a great evening and don’t get sick,

Eric

Hi Zack,

My name is Buddy from Park Ridge ,IL. I am reaching out to you as my family and I will be heading to Mesa,Arizona for Cubs Spring training games from Thursday, March 19th through Monday, March 23rd. My 12 year old son, Jack , loves baseball and is a HUGE, HUGE fan of you as he always is watching your Youtube videos when you are attending Regular season or Spring training MLB games.

We were wondering by chance if you were planning to be at Sloan Park during any Cubs games from March 19- 23rd ? Jack would love to meet you if you have a few minutes?

I realize Spring training could be a busy time for you but if you are around during these games and have a few minutes for Jack to meet you would be a great experience. It would make his whole year. He began his new hobby last year of catching foul balls after studying your videos and was lucky enough to get 25 balls in Spring Training and additional 60 during the regular 2019 season.

Just let me know when you can , thank you Zack.

-Buddy

Keep up the good work

Hey Zack! HUGE fan here! I have a video idea you should do. Since you did the hat collection, signed ticket stubs, bats, etc. You should do a commemorative baseball collection! It would be really fun for you to do it because it would be interesting to see some commemorative baseballs that I haven’t seen before! Thanks for all the excitement on your videos!

Hey Zack we met when you were comerica park against the angels and I tried to help you get trout but he never came over. I can help you get a free ball next time you come. I’ve been talking with twins pitcher randy dobnak and tigers prospect troy stokes jr. Both of them can hook me up and I can hook you up with balls too. Just give me a holler next time you’re in Detroit and the twins are in town and I can hook you up with some balls

Hello Zack. I think what you do is very cool. I am a big baseball fan and love what you do. Also, I appreciate your support for the LGBTQ community, and I hope your sister is doing well. Sending you thanks from California and hoping you have a great year and baseball season.

February 11, 2020

Hey Zack,

I have been subscribed to your YouTube channel for several years, and have viewed the majority of your videos during that time span. After viewing your most recent YouTube video on roasted by mean comments (part 2), I had to reach out to you for support. I’m 35 years old and absolutely love the passion for the game of baseball. It’s perfectly normal for a adult man to enjoy a hobby of many aspects of baseball, including catching baseballs to collect while visiting stadiums. You are a true inspiration and great role model. I enjoy traveling with my son each baseball season, to experience a few different major league ballparks for the first time. We have been to roughly a dozen different stadiums and look forward to keep the lists going. For all the unnecessary haters of inappropriate comments and tweets that you get, 2 words “Fuck Them”
The majority of these haters are likely just deep down inside jealous of you. That after a lot of hard work, you get paid in sponsorships-viewers to travel the country to attend baseball games. Lastly thank you for sharing your passion for the love of the game as well. Keep up the hard work !! You are a true inspiration - role model for the baseball community.

Thanks,
Adam

Zack, whenever I'm having a bad day, I come home and watch your videos and it makes my day 10 times better, and the fact that you have haters that don't like what you do makes me sad, but the haters are not right so keep doing what your doing and keep making great videos.

-Tabitha

February 10, 2020

i’ll be honest. i didn’t care for you when i saw a couple of your videos, but i subscribed and you’ve become one of my favorite youtubers. you’ve opened my eyes to other issues other than baseball and i truly appreciate you being so open. respect my dude. even though you’re not a trump supporter, i can still respect someone else’s political opinions...unlike some of these people mentioned in your new video. i’m really looking forward to this season and your videos. best of luck this season and take care zack!

-Ryno

February 9, 2020

Zack, I am a 53 year old MLB fan and what you do is Excellent, fun to watch and it makes a long season that much more interesting and fun to follow. Don't let the jealous assholes get to you. Take every criticism as a compliment to you. You have a lot of fans and you are an ambassador to the game of Major League Baseball. Dont change.

-Andrew

Hey man just watched a couple of your YouTube videos. I got to tell you I really wish I had your life lol. I mean I am a died hard Yankees fan. I'm just starting to get back into collecting again after being away 2 from losing everything. I am in rebuild mode. I wish I could afford these memrobalias items just for myself ya know. It's hard being married we have Bill's ya know. So I been getting into breaks in these groups, going to my local card store an hour away. I'm saving $500 for HOF tickets this year. I hit a tatis jr redemption relic auto..waiting fir topps to fill order and send and hopefully I can get it graded and it will be worth that much. Anyways, sorry for rambling on and my punctuation. Never been the best at writing. I enjoyed your videos maybe we can meet at a NY game sometime. Thanks

February 3, 2020

Dear Zack, I am a huge fan of yours, I love watching your videos and have been watching for over three years. It has always been a dream of mine to meet you in person. I have learned so many ballhawking tips from you and have been able to get my lifetime total to 55 baseballs because of your help!

I live in Chicago, and I know you try to make your way to Wrigley each year so I have a proposal to make, I would love to offer you tickets for you and your cameraman assuming that he will be with you to a game. The tickets that you would be getting are for the W club seats which are along the third baseline, these give you access to a private club with free food and drinks including a sundae bar! This would not be a watch with zack by any means I would just love to meet you, and do something in return for all the entertainment you have provided me, and talk with you for a few minutes and then you can go on and do your thing.

Thanks for taking the time and reading this! I hope we can see each other at some point this summer!!

Sincerely,
Patrick

Hi Zack

My students got me to arrange a trip to Yankee Stadium on 4/4 v Toronto.

You have some great fans in my classes. If you are at Yankee Stadium that day please let me know.  They have come over 3,000 miles in the slight hope you May be in your home city that day.

My cousin’s son in law is the Director of Corporate at [redacted]. Let me know if you are ever over on the west coast and need taking care of. He used to work at Chavez Ravine for the LAD.

My other friend has box seats in the front row at DS and has many Post Season balls and World Series signed by Puig, Kershaw and Turner. If you are ever up for a mutual swap I can put you in touch.

Anyway Zack, you are inspiring my students and doing what you love. We are over again in April 22 so either Yankee Stadium or a home game at Citi Field.

You are a top man!

In peace!

-Iain

January 31, 2020

Hello Zack! My name is Austin and I am a senior at [redacted] High School in [redacted] Iowa. I am about to start a project where I will need to interview someone who has a interesting story of how they got to where they are today. I want to know if I can interview you for this project; of course I’m a fan of your work, but by no means if this one of those sneaky ways to get in touch with people who have fame to their name. I legitmentally want to know more about your life leading up to present day and how you have impacted our society throughout those years.

If you would like to go through with this interview I will be more than happy to respond to you as quickly as possible. For now here is kind of what would happen: Preferably, this would have to take place over a video chat system such as Skype, Factime or anything media you can think of, there is no limit for me. My teacher wants us to be able to record the conversation not only to have a transcript of what was said, but also to get stuff like hand gestures and face expressions. Obviously if you do not want to do any part of that, emailing back and forth can work, but having that face to face chat will provide better support than prepared answers to my questions. Speaking of questions, I will have a prepared list of questions for you, that I will give probably (can vary depending on your schedule) the day before just so you have some time to think of response instead of just going off the top of your head.

To set up a actual time for this, I will go by anything you want. 2 in the morning is just as good as 2 in the afternoon. I would say though that this interview could potentially take a hour to complete depending on how much small talk is done between questions and answers.

I know your time is valuable, so if you  do not want to go forth with this interview by all means say no. You will not hurt my feelings by declining this request. I also understand that to you, I could be any random person in the world looking for attention or trying to cause trouble, I am not. I can provide pictures of who I am, video messages, you name it. I’m shooting a long shot here but I have hope in what can be accomplished. Thank you for you time Zack I greatly appreciate who you are.

-Austin

To Dear Zack Hample
I am writing to you to thank you for being such an entertaining, fun and kind hearted youtuber. You are my favourite youtuber of all time every time I see that you have uploaded a video I get a rush of excitement to watch your great content. I have been a fan of your channel for 3 years now.  Now I will tell you a bit about me I am a huge baseball fan and I live in Australia and there isn’t a huge amount of baseball fans in Australia and where I live I don’t know anyone who I can share the love for baseball with so I love to be able to expand and share my love for baseball with you. I also admire how great you are with fans and being a sports memorabilia collector myself I love to see you receive balls, bats, autographs and so on. It would mean the world to me if you could reply to me Zack I know your a very busy man  so I understand if you can’t get back to me. Also a fact for you my mother was also born on the 14th of September 1977.

Hi Zack I am a huge baseball fan and huge fan of you. Unfortunately where I live their is no team near. Since I kept on asking  Finely I am getting to see spring training. I am a White Sox fan so we are going to Arizona. These are the dates so you can hopefully find me and help me find a ball. We arrive the 28th of February the White Sox are playing the Indians but we are not going to be at the game we will just be at the practice lot in the morning . The next day February 29 we are watching the White Sox playing the Rangers but at the Rangers facility. The day after March 1 We will see the White Sox play the Angels but at the Angels facility. the next day March 2 the White Sox will be playing the Padres but this time the White Sox will be home.

Hope you are doing well and can make it.

January 4, 2020

Hey Zack my little brother Daylin is a really big fan of yours but unfortunately we never get to go to that many baseball games since we live in Montreal, Quebec.

This Christmas our dad got us tickets to go see the Blue Jays exhibition game against the Yankees at the Olympic stadium in Montreal on March 23 and I was wondering if you would be there and maybe help my brother get a ball.

It would be a really big deal for him
Thanks
