Hey Zack-
I'm a huge fan. I've been reading your blog for a few seasons, and even started snagging some balls myself in the last two years.
I was surprised with a very early birthday present this year. My dad and I are flying from Chicago to New York to see Yankee Stadium on August 4th and 5th. I know you hate weekend games, and don't like Yankee Stadium all that much, but I just wanted to find out if there's any chance you'll be around the area on either of those days. I don't think I could put into words how awesome it would be to meet you.
Thanks for the time.

hey mr hample i just want to say thanks for all the advice in your videos yesterday i went to the toledo mudhens game (aaa) detroit tigers, me and my friend used the glove trick and it worked we snagged three balls with that trick, and i got a foul ball during the game and caught, at comerica park for me the security does not really let us in early enough and they dont let us do the glove trick at comerica park, but thanks for all ur advice zack it means alot July 20, 2012
Got into Fenway an hour early earlier this week thanks to a tip I read from you about joining Red Sox Nation (I think it was in the Boston Globe article) and snagged a Fenway commemorative ball during that time, so thanks, Zack.

Zack – Sam and Juliana are still bubbling over with excitement about the game on Monday. They’ve been busy telling all the great stories about being part of the snagging team – cute kids definitely help the effort. You have our 5-star rating for "Watch with Zack". It is a priceless experience. Baseball has never been so much fun!!!!!!!!!

Dear Zack
I'm a big fan of yours and was wondering if I/you could send a photo out to be autographed. I've always followed your tips. Like your biggest one say please. I've gotten a Heath Bell auto and a ball from Cole Hamels by saying please. I was also wondering if you were going to attend any phillies games this year. So back to the main reason I'm emailing u is I'm wondering if u could send me an autographed photo or I send u something to be signed.
Sincerely your biggest fan,

Hey Zack, I wanted to congratulate you on the world record and wish you luck on the next one. If your mitt still int broken in, i would put it in the microwave for about 20 seconds and when it's done, stretch it out a lot and put it on your hand once its cooled down a bit. Then I would put a small amount of vaseline on it and rub it in, then put a ball in the pocket when your done. It has always worked for me and i hope it does for you too!
Good luck and congrats.

Someone mentioned you were on Reddit. Really cool, man! You seem like a funny guy who loves to be doing what you are doing! Keep it up.. thanks for the advice on catching foul balls as well, ha!

Hey Zack,
Ive been a fan of what you do for a while now. I think its awesome to see someone be so passionate about baseball as I am. Ive seen many videos on you and i have watched some of your videos as well. I was also lucky enough to attend the 2012 All Star Game in Arizona, and i saw you in your Yellow Homer shirt. Awesome catch... I saw when you caught Robby Cano's homer in the last round. It was disappointing because none of my Red Sox players won! But hey it was an awesome event regardless.
Anyways, the point of this message was to ask if you would be willing to sell me any balls you have gotten? I know you have like 4000 haha! Id love to buy a few either maybe through paypal or TTM ( through the mail cash). I love star players and Red Sox or Dodger players.... possibly Angels.
Id love to maybe buy home run balls from games? If thats too hard then Batting Practice balls are okay. Thanks for reading this message. I really appreciate it. I will continue to be a fan and watch your vids. Hopefully i can get a response and maybe we can work something out. Thank you very much

Dear Zack,
I have been collecting baseballs from the time I was about 10 years old until today, primarily in minor league parks. When I randomly came across your videos on YouTube, I was excited to learn I was not the only one who goes "crazy with excitement" about getting a ball. I'm sort of a neurotic fan to go to a game with, as I insist on aisle seating and frequently switch seats based on the handedness of the batter and throwing speed of the pitcher. When I was smaller I would beg for balls, but in the minor leagues this generally meant a beat up practice ball (which I would subsequently hit into the woods behind my former rural NC home) Now, I strive to catch baseballs on the fly - I was on the news one time for a backhanded snag on a full run at a Ft. Myers Miracle game in the stadium where Minnesota conducts spring training. I am no longer so young and cute, so the most I can hope for now is an ESPN Top Play soundclip over the PA.
Encountering your videos was like reading ancient philosophy - thoughts I was convinced were original and groundbreaking and totally of my own experience had been employed years before by you. My collection is nowhere near that of yours, but I think you have some years and mobility on me. I am a rather poor person, so I don't get to many MLB games - but I have caught 20+ MLB balls (mainly Tropicana, but also at Comerica, Old Marlins/Dolphins/Joe Robbie/ProPlayer/Landshark and most recently, Kauffman) in BP. I have literally used the "10th fielder" line you did to explain to others why I am so obsessed. If I can't make it to BP, I hardly want to go. My one game record is 4 from when the Tampa Bay DEVIL Rays were terrible and the outfield seats were empty. I always feel a little better when I see old men around me doing the same thing when I can sometimes still pass for 16 if I shave (as can you).
I hope to cross paths with you someday; maybe compete for a few baseballs in BP. I just graduated from college and am looking for employment in baseball writing - if I should fail at procuring employment that way, I will write an ode to the game I love and maybe get a start that way. Anyway, I know you are busy so I will let you go. I just wanted to "touch base" with someone I think is really cool. Don't let anyone discourage you and your pursuit of the most coveted souvenir in sports.
Best Regards,
-James, age 24

Hey Zack,
Its been a year since we met at the new Yankee Stadium. My father and I saw you snag some balls in the outfield seats. You also gave me a ball and later that day, I googled you and found some of your tricks and I found the glove attached to string and marker trick the most interesting. I was able to make a replica of the glove with twine and a rubber band and a marker. I started going early to batting practice to snag some balls and I've been sucessful to getting balls mostly through wearing opposing team caps and communication to the players on the field (some in Spanish). Today, I went with father and our neighbor to Yankee Stadium and I had the chance to use the Glove Trick to get a ball that hopped all the way to the bottom of the wall in left field. I got it without being yelled at by the tough secuirity of Yankee Stadium. I give all credit to you Zack, for coming up with this amazing idea of extending your reach to get the baseballs near the wall.

Zack:
My name is Bryson and I am a big time fan of yours! Everytime I go to an MLB game I try your techniques of getting baseballs! There is not a better feeling in the world than getting a ball from a Big Leaguer. I was just wondering if you are going to be in KC for the all star game? It has been a dream of mine to attend an All star game since I can remember watching Ken Griffey Jr. dominating the home run derby! Recently I was denied a chance to win tickets because I was from Nebraska, ( recent promotion with KC visitors bureau) I was hoping to reunite with my older brother who is a Pharm D resident out in South Carolina to enjoy America's favorite past time. I was just wanting to see if you knew of anybody with ticket connections, this would be a great surprise for my brother because I haven't seen him since Christmas! I look forward to reading your blog everyday! Your truly are one of the most sincere people in the United States for all you have contributed to charity! Hope to hear back from you!

Hey, Zack! Just wanted to congratulate you on catching your 6,000th baseball. I can't imagine. You're as nutty as ever (a good thing). Hope to run into you again. I first met you at Shea's final game where you caught Beltran's HR when you "churned butter." You immediately went up to a security guard looking for an MLB authenticator. BTW, do you still have that baseball?
Hope all is well with you otherwise...

Zack,

I think you have a very exciting life, from being a “ball hawker” to working in a cool bookstore. I loved looking at all of your cool pictures. I have yet to snag a baseball, but appreciate your tips and tricks. I had a passion several years ago with collecting sports jerseys from thrift stores. My first one was a 1985 Walter Payton Bears jersey for .99 cents. It turned out to be my best find ever, but I still spent free time going to all the local thrift stores until several years later somebody figured out they weren’t charging enough and now they are hung in the “boutique and vintage” areas and start at $10. I have close to a 100 jerseys and still get goose bumps when I see an old 80s jersey on the rack. It’s nice to see people have a passion for something fun. Good luck at your next game.

Your blog is awesome, Zack. You've actually inspired me to attempt some ballhawking - had good luck at Camden Yards last year, but we'll see how I fare at Citi Field this Saturday. I hope that having Field Level seats will help.
May 16, 2012
Hey Zack,
I have been reading your blog for quite some time now and I really enjoy it... so much so that I am making my ballhawk debut this weekend(to the dislike of my fiance but it looks so fun!) I am going to the Rays Braves game this Saturday (May 19) I have seats on the third base side figured thats a great place for third out balls depending on how far i am from the dugout. I have some questions for you the game is at 4:10 and there will be a friday night game the night before. If i remember your blog correctly, there is no batting practice the day after a late game correct? where is the best place to go during bp at the trop (if they have it) I am thinking left field or by the braves or rays bull pen. How nice were the security people such as using the glove trick (don't think ill use it because thats your trick!) Anyway my goal is 1 ball in my first game I came within 2 rows about 15 years ago at Fenway but thats as close I have ever got. Zack, any information you can give me I would appreciate it! you wont be at this game will you? keep up the good luck on the blog! I think if i snag a ball ill donate 5 dollars per ball to pitching in for baseball!
Thanks for any ideas!

Zack,
I don't know what I admire more; your incredible skill at collecting baseballs in big league parks or the creative way you've converted that skill into the number 1 blog at MLBlogs.com. Great stuff! May 14, 2012
Zack, I hope you ignore all the haters. I have seen you give many balls away and you have taught all your techniques to the masses. If someone wants a ball they can follow your lead or should just keep quiet. Personally I am so sick of people who say kids should get all the balls. they have their entire life ahead of the themselves to catch a ball. When I was growing up, players never tossed balls into the stands. It is much easier now for kids to get balls, they just need to follow every tip you have given over the years.

Last wednesday was the first game i have gone to this year. The angles were playing the twins at target. I followed your advice and bought a hat for a few other teams and i printed an angels roster. I ended up getting 5 balls – thats the most ive gotten in one game. Just wanted to say thanks for the advice in your books and on your blogs.

I was hoping I would have a chance to meet you, and get you to sign a ball I have when you go to Miami on May 21st. I’m pretty sure I will be there when gates open, but not 100% sure. are you going to be in LF or RF during BP? or, if better for you, we can meet sometime during the game…
If you don’t want to give me your autograph, then i guess just scratch all of the above :P
Hope to see you there!

Hi Zack! I was wondering if you plan on taking a trip down to Miami to check out a Marlins game at the new ballpark? I would enjoy a chance to snag some foul balls with you. The Marlins are also using very nice Inagural Season baseballs this year. Hope to hear from you soon!

Hi Zack- I remember seeing you many years ago on "The Tonight Show" and have been a fan ever since! Just recently googled you and found this great blog- thanks for posting. I am from Milwaukee and have been shagging baseballs during batting practice for almost 15 years. I got the itch when Milwaukee's Ball hawk Nick "happy youngster" Yohanek became a local celebrity- I am nearly 50 years old so my skills and strategy have change over the years. Well thanks again- and perhaps we will see each other in the stands! Good Luck!

Seems like the people who think you're a dick are the ones who haven't done their research. I'll admit that when I first learnt about you I watched every video I could find, and read your blog until the early hours of the morning. Once I had all the facts, it was impossible not to like you. Good luck this season, buddy.

Good evening Mr. Hample,
I am taking my son to his very first major league baseball game at the rogers centre that friday. We snagged seats in the RF outfield level 100 in hopes of him or myself snatching a home run ball. I read about your story and followed your blog while looking for pictures of our section and seats. While at the core of my email is the question "will you be in attendance at the game that night?" I am asking more because I would like to tell my son your story and then have him better appreciate his old mans ramblings by actually meeting you. *Plus, with your ball-hawking skills his chances of coming away from the game with a game ball significantly increase.

I am really pretty big on your work right now, maybe just because I'm seriously exploring baseball as a subject. I have your second book, I'm really a very new fan of baseball and it's really very helpful, maybe the most helpful book I can find. Then I got the scorekeeping book and was surprised to find you in there, and I have found your blog which also like very much, so it's fun to find a new writer that I really like.

Just randomly came across your blog and really enjoyed your story and the dedication you put into this. On top of that, the charity is a great thing. I'll check in from time to time, but I'll be interested to read your travels. Good luck and looking forward to 2012 season!

I totally forgot that the day you gave me the Korean documentary, we were going out for dinner, so I put it IN the computer to watch later - and out of sight out of mind- I forgot all about it. I want to share it with friends who are baseball fans.

Hi Zack,
My name's Eric and I'm a Brooklynite and big Arkanoid fan. I was at Barcade and thought it might be possible for me to beat your long-standing record there. So, in the midst of looking for some kind of strategy online, I headed over to the Twin Galaxies site and found out that you were actually the world record holder! This, more than the baseballs, makes you a bit of a celebrity in my book. Anyway, I saw on your site that you go to baseball games with fans, and I thought you might want to hit up the arcade with a different kind of fan, and possibly give some pointers. Either way, let me know, and it was nice to e-meet you.
Cheers,
Eric

First off Zack, let me just say that I'm a huge fan of your baseball collection. The amount you have makes you a legend!
Secondly, I was just wondering if I could ask you a question related to the 30 stadiums you went to all last year.
Is there any stadiums like US Cellular Field in Chicago that require a lower level ticket to enter the lower bowl even for batting practice?
I may not go to 30 stadiums this year but I'm considering going to multiple to go around getting all the commemorative baseballs.
Thanks!!!

Hi Zack,
My name is Joe - I live near Denver - and I've enjoyed reading your blog for a long time now. I'm no where near as accomplished as you at getting baseballs, but I do pretty well and have a few tricks of my own. I got about 30 last year - I feel like you would do that in one good day...
I was just browsing though your blog from the Coors game on June 10, 2011 (bobble head day), and lo and behold, found myself in one of your pictures!!!:
You may very well find this boring, or get this all the time - but I got a HUGE kick out of finding myself there. I'm the one just to the top left of Robert Harmen in the Gray/black hat and black shirt. What a disappointment that I had no idea you were right there. I'll have to keep track of when you come to Denver this year - I'd love to shake your hand, and maybe ask you for a baseball - ha!
Thanks for humoring me by reading this exciting email...

Zack,
Hope all is well. Loved reading the blog all year. This past weekend some of my friends found your book in the backseat of my car and they all immediately knew who you were and started reminiscing on reading your first book. I then had to impress them by telling them to open the first page and read the note you wrote. But the icing on the cake was telling them that I was on Korean tv with you. You have to send me the link to the Korean tv video once it is completed because they don't believe me.

Hey Zack,
Let me start off by saying this, I am a San Francisco Giants fan. So Im asking you to come to a game (or maybe two) with me in SF next season. My name is Sarah and I am a sports psychology and journalism student, studying at Cal State East Bay. I was born and raised a Giants fan, freezing my butt off at the Stick with my dad. Baseball is a huge deal in my family, and it is the love of my life. A few months ago I stumbled upon your blog. Not to get too creepy or anything, but I think you're awesome. You have my dream job. You live my dream life. And reading your stuff (I just started your books) has actually been a learning experience for me in a lot of ways. Needless to say, it would be awesome for me to get to hang out with you for a bit and pick your brain (if you don't mind) about the game, the job, and life. I know SF is a loong way to come from NY, so I would be totally down to pay you some extra cash to get all the way out here and be here for a few days. I hope to hear back from you! Thanks in advance,
-Sarah

Hey Zack,
This is Casey from Game 3 of the World Series. I came down to talk to you during the 7th and 8th innings and got you to sign my book. I just wanted to let you know that it was great meeting you and talking to you. As I suspected, you are a pretty funny and entertaining dude.
Hopefully I'll run into you again someday in the future. My wife and I decided that we want to try to visit all 30 stadiums during our lifetime, although I would like to do that in one year like you did. We started by visiting Seattle this past summer. We also just had a baby girl a little over a month ago so I can't wait to take her to a game and snag a few balls for her using the tips I've learned from you. Oh and one more thing, the lone ball I snagged during BP was one of those 50th anniversary Angels balls that seem to be everywhere. I was actually a little pissed since I despise the Angels as I'm a hardcore Rangers fan, but oh well, it's a World Series ball, so I can't really complain. Anyway, if you don't mind, would you please email the picture of us Ben took? It's the one where we're both holding up the "claws". I'd very much appreciate it. Again, nice meeting you and good luck in your snagging future. But really, what are you going to do to top this year? Start visiting Japanese league games??? Haha.

I first read about you in August of 2010, and using your roster print out trick, I was able to snag two balls during batting practice in a game later that month. This year, I have snagged 8 balls in 2 games thanks to your tricks. I just wanted to let you know that reading your blog has turned me from being a fan who likes watching batting practice to see home runs and watching games to see action to a fan who spends batting practice looking for balls on the warning track and screaming to players so loud that I lose my voice within an hour. Since I don't have very many opportunities to catch balls because I don't go to many games (even though I would go to all 81 Mets home games if I could!), I work even harder to get the extra ball or two. I was also wondering if some time I could go to a game with you at Citi Field next year. Not an official Watch With Zack game, but like where I will buy my ticket and you could provide transportation (since nobody in my family who can drive appreciates baseball even close to as much as me). Thanks for reading this and I hope to someday go to a game with you and watch you snag a lot of balls.

I stumbled upon your blog on accident by clicking a link to find out how many baseballs were used by the mlb in a year. I am glad i did now. I am 16 and ever since i went to my first baseball game when i was 7 at Minute Maid Park I wanted to visit every ball park before i died. I came one step closer this past summer by asking to go to Atlanta for my 16 birthday instead of having a party and a present and it came true. I began to read this, instead of doing my homework, and was really jealous. I want to do what you are doing and be able to bring joy to other kids at the ball park by just giving them a ball. Keep doing what you are doing and I hope to one day see you at a ball park.

Hi Zack, I am the guy with the curly hair and the yellow shirt you gave away the ball to which we both dove for as it came down the third base line. I wanted to say thank you for getting me my first major league baseball. I ended up getting it signed by Mike Baxter and it is now sitting atop by bookshelf. It was good to meet you and I wish you the best of luck with your baseball collecting.

Zack,
Just read the article on MSN and first off, congrats on not only reaching 1,000 this year, but destroying it. I live in MN and go to about 30 games a year at Target field and another 2 or 3 at various stadiums, and just got into hawking. As a kid I always wanted that sneaky and hard to obtain ball of yarn covered in leather, but had to wait until I was 25 years old!! I went to over 50 games with my dad, but we were never early enough, or close enough, or vocal enough. Then I caught a BP ball in the Metrodome and that's when the hawk-flu hit me. It's no-where near the hundreds you grab, but I have been able to score about 15 this year (a personal best) and they have varied from my first game used, to the pearls you have also described; and did so while putting about a 20% effort into it. I am more of an autograph seeker this year, and have been trying to get the whole Twins team to sign a canvas I have (30 current guys, and 5 former players so far).
If you are ever come up to Target Field again, let me know. I have a 20 game package, and often need to find someone who is willing to get to the ballpark as early as I like. :)
I have noticed that the game is changing as well, gate times are slowly getting closer and closer to game time and security is getting out of hand.
Well, hope the rest of '11 treats you well and you set yet another record in '12!
-Tony

Dear Zack:
Thanks so much for all you've done for fans of the game of baseball. You've written some really engaging and informed stuff that opens up the whole experience to people like me who can get too obsessed with numbers, especially wins and losses (I'm a lifelong BoSox fan, so it's not my fault!).
Best wishes with your future projects and keep promoting and loving the game. It's a national treasure, and I'm grateful that enthusiastic, kindhearted, intelligent folks like you are some of its primary ambassadors.

Hi Zack!
I guess you're (still) recovering from your stadium roadtrip.
Since I coincidentally ran into "Watching Baseball Smarter" after having read a review in the USA Today in 2007, I'm a fan of you. I love to read your blog and tweets. What an awesome hobby you have.
I'm in New York until Sunday evening, before flying back to the Netherlands (yes: even in Europe you've fans). I've planned two baseball games for tonight (Mets) and Sunday (Red Sox) and I'm thinking about tomorrow's Mets game as well. Yesterday I've bought your latest book and I'm wondering if you have some time to sign the book (esp. when you're in or near Citifield or Yankee Stadium).
Hope to hear from you, although it's on a short term.
Cheers,
Vincent

Congratulations on being the #1 MLBlog. Your story is amazing. Many fans spend their entire lives at games and never get a ball. To have gotten almost 1000 this year is unbelievable. You are an inspiration for the American Dream. Taking your love for the game and getting baseballs and then publishing three books and starting a business to take others to games to help them get balls is genius.

Hey Zack-
I'm really glad that you're gonna be able to make it to St. Louis this week. I'd really like to meet you (and have you sign my book), and I was wondering what time you were going to start waiting in line at Busch Tuesday and Wednesday? Unfortunately, I have work and I'm not going to be able to stay for the game, but I'd love to take some time and meet you for a tiny bit before you enter the gates, or if you're free at any other part of the day before the game, and I can try to schedule around it. You probably already know this, but Busch opens two hours before game time for everybody, just in case you need to plan your schedule. Love your stuff. Hope I'll be lucky enough to meet you.

Thanks much for the conversation and sharing a meal with us last night at Denny's. My son Colin and I enjoyed it very much. We are fans of you quest.
Unfortunately, I don't believe we will be making it out for the Sunday Royals game. Hopefully the morning rain will push off - as it is forecasted to do - and the game will be a productive one for you. Again, thanks for the invite last night to share a meal and converse.

I just wanted to thank you again fror the ball. My two kids will love it. They will fight who's room it will go in, so I might just have to keep it in my room. LOL.
It is really cool to have met you, you seem like a really Awesonm guy. I know you don't think of yourself as famous, but I do. My co worker says I'm obsessed with your blog now. Lol. I think it is really awesome what you are doing. I'm glad I got to meet you and I enjoy talking with you.
Catch you later.

Zack,
Just a quick note of thanks. You really made my son's and their friend's day.
Living about 2 1/2 hours from Detroit, we specifically picked the 4:05 game thinking there would be BP. They were bummed when there was not.
Really appreciate your generosity giving up 3 balls. Yes we could buy them or get them from my brother, but as you know, nothing like getting one at the stadium. The boys took those balls down to the front row, got Phil Coke and Daniel Schlerth autographs. Now they are proudly displayed in their bed rooms.
Thanks again,
-John

It was great to meet you Zack, and I really appreciated you signing my book and doing the interview. Definitely a highlight of the season. If you’d like to read the post I put up, it’s on my blog at http://rbicollecting.blogspot.com/2011/09/big-league-moment-2-zack-hample.html

Zack,
This is David from Pittsburgh, you signed all 3 books last week for me and I just wanted to thank you again. Also reading your last post made me think of bad issue I had at Dodger Stadium. I keep score at all games and we were wandering around and I took my book out to write the starting lineups down. Then we went to our seats in the upper deck. Realized I must have dropped my book since it was not in my bag my dad ran down to see about finding it. They would not allow him to do a quick look in the section that we were standing in. It was still a good 30-45 before first pitch. Again Thank you and good luck on your goal for 1000.

Hi Zack, I just got your baseball. Thank you so much. This is like so cool. I am almost 48 and I have wanted a ball from Yankee Stadium since I was 10. I really didn't think it would ever happen. Got this set up on a special place in my trophy case. Thank you for the holder to. I will get that photo printed and sent to you. Seems all I have been doing is going to see doctors. I hope you are having a fun trip. I liked the photo of you with your mom. Glad to see she likes to go to a game. I have always wanted to get to New York and hope I do oneday. Please keep up your great work for those kids. I look forward to meeting you next year when you throw out that first pitch. Did I say how cool this ball is?LOL. Thanks again. If I can do anything for you just let me know. Go get that 1,000th ball.

Hey Zack you are my idol! I watched just about everyone of your YouTube videos yesterday! I love the “To Tell the Truth” one haha! By the way I’m 14 and would like to meet you at SAFECO Field next season if you go there! I made the glove trick and it works and I can’t wait to use it!

On Monday I went to the Cards v. Dodgers game and guess what I got?
1 baseball
9 autographs (KEMP, Kershaw, Ethier, Loney, Kuroda, Blake, Gordon, Sellers, Broxton)
2 Justin Sellers batting gloves!!!
That day I went for autographs, but I used your tips of how to get players attention and they worked! Thanks so much!

Zack--
It's 8 a.m. here and we are just recovering. Long flights home, beginning with our drive from Pitts to Cleveland Airport. No wrong turns, but, for some reason, a very long 135 miles. In fact, I think a few miles longer due to the location of the airport. But . . . with only two stops (1/ to get a photo of the kids at the "welcome to ohio" sign; and 2/ for a bathroom break, some food and a smurf toy for Hawthorne at the McDonald's at the Turnpike Service area), we made it to the rental car drop-off on time. Made the flight from Cleveland to Chicago and the connecting flight from Chicago to Seattle. Michelle and Hawthorne were at the airport waiting for us and we were happy to be together again. The kids were thrilled with our trip and are sharing a lot of stories with Michelle. The blog entries for days 1 and 2 are terrific. I love the "watch with zack" stats. Once you post the results from the 8/24 game in Pittsburgh, it'll be an impressive 3 day stat total from our recent travels with you. I thought your write-ups were compelling and accurate.
Thanks for everything, Zack. I cannot believe how many balls we were able to snag and what incredible luck and circumstances we encountered. [Minor point -- I think you should mention something about how we left Progressive Field about 5 outs before the earthquake hit. I saw on ESPN the shots from Progressive during the 2nd inning of that game where the press box was shaking -- just kind of a neat coincidence]. I liked the way that you gave homage to Larry and to the other fans of yours who sought you out at the games. Very nice. Keeps everyone happy. Did you make the game in D.C.? How did you do? You must also be quite tired. All for now. Let's keep in touch over the next few days.

Zack, I doubt you remember me but I was at that game and introduced myself at the beginning of BP. I pretty much blew it, I was so nervous and have always wanted to see you, and when I saw the amazing catch that had you made lunging backwards, I started sprinting up the stairs as fast as possible to say hi. I was both shocked and out of breath so much that I made a huge fool of myself and would just like to say that I am a huge fan of yours and hopefully I will see you on 8/19 at Nats Park. I would come today however I have marching band uniform fittings at 7:00PM:(

Thanks Zack,
I will figure it out. Having raised money for various causes over the years I appreciate your wanting to make a difference for those less fortunate. Keep up the good work, it speaks highly of the type of person you are. I was thinking about you last night while I was at the Diamondback game. I was waiting to see my friend (Cody Ransom) and I was watching BP and seeing the fans snagging balls. Next time I will bring a glove and see if I can put your tips to use.
Thanks again.

Zack,
I'm not a ballhawk, nor a regular commenter on your site, just a big baseball/ballparks fan who will be in NYC this week from Iowa, and a big fan of your writings.
Will you be at Citi Field Wednesday or Yankee Stadium Thursday? If so, I'll look for you. Would love to chat for 5 minutes.
Thanks.

Hi Zack,
My son Jacob Resnick is a big fan of yours -- he met you at a Yankee game in May, and he's posted comments on your blog. He's been snagging balls at games recently and considers you a mentor. He also has two of your books and loves them. Anyway, I wanted to let you know that he won the 2011 Kidcaster contest sponsored by SNY, and he's going to be broadcasting a half-inning of the Mets-Marlins game this coming Tuesday, August 2nd. He'll be in the booth with Gary, Keith and Ron for the bottom of the 3rd. He's really good at broadcasting, so we thought you might want to tune in.
By the way, my wife and I used to see your half-brother's band Washboard Jungle back in the 90s. They were great.
Take care, and keep up the good work.

Hey Zack,
Awesome catch the other day at the Yard. I was ushering in the upper deck behind home plate and saw you catch it. The fans thought i was crazy because i was cheering the other team hitting a home run so i had to explain it to my entire section! I saw Ray (Ballpark Operation) come over and i figured they were taking you down to the clubhouse because it was that guy's first ever home run. I wish i could've been down there to tell you to put in a good word for me with him, he's the guy who runs everything at OPACY. So what did you end up getting in return? Hopefully something worth it.
Again, congrats Zack!

It was great to meet you on Tuesday night against the Cardinals, you made my day and inspired me to switch from the autograph mindset, to ball hawking.
I will read your books, (Hopefully hunt down a copy of the first one on Amazon) and I already made a My Game Balls account. My username is nn1488414884. I've only submitted my balls for this season so far...
Maybe I'll see you again this season at Citi Field...

Zack,
It was nice to finally meet you this past week at Camden Yards. I've been following your blog now for a couple years and its always an entertaining read, so it was nice to see you in action in person. Thanks so much for signing my book (I'm just about finished and really enjoying it), and posing for the pictures.
That was my first visit to Camden Yards and it turned out to be a great time. Not only did Cleveland win both games I was at, but I was able to get a ball at each game, and have the opportunity to meet you.
I really enjoyed your recent All-Star blog entry, and I'm glad you were able to get one of the logo'd balls. Those look pretty sweet. I've only ever gotten two commemorative balls, one from the final season at shea and one from the final season at yankee stadium. I'm hoping I might be able to get an commemorative Angels ball when they come to Cleveland next week. I also enjoyed the "dream" you had about meeting Bud Selig. After each sentence I was saying to myself "no way", "get outta here", or "that's awesome!" before I realized you were joking. Haha.
Anyways it was nice meeting you and I hope your able to make it to Cleveland on the 22nd of August and we can speak again. I know your doing a watch with Zack game when your in Cleveland and I don't know what your plans are exactly and I realize we only met briefly once, but if your in need of a place to stay while in Cleveland, I can probably let you crash at my apartment (its about 2 blocks from Progressive field). I'd have to clear it with the girlfriend first but it shouldn't be a problem. Hope to hear from you and see you soon.

Hey Zack,
I wanted to thank you for posing for a pic with me at the Oriole game last Thurs. during Indians BP. I was the big guy with the beard, no glove:(. It was a pleasure meeting you, and a true pleasure to see your glove trick with the ball that got into the bullpen... awesome and right before the cop waddled over!:) I have attached the picture in the hopes it might make it onto your blog. Wishful thinking I guess, but it did turn out to be a great pic. Don't be alarmed by the fist I'm making in the pic, I am a former boxer and still do that in pictures by habit... Anyway, it was super cool that you give baseballs to kids that haven't gotten any, and I saw you do just that after the bullpen ball. Well, I know you're really busy catching balls, but thanks for taking the time to pose for a pic and talk a bit!

Hello, I have been reading your blog for quite some time now, and love it. I think your really cool and ever since I've read your blog, I've gotten 3 baseballs in 2 games! I am really excited to try to get many more in my collection. I also have a question. Do you count the training balls? And do you know when they started using them? Thanks for great advice, and hope to see you at us cellular field!

Hey man, my name is Jake and I'm 21. I'm from a small city called Moundsville in West Virginia (about 45-50 minutes from Pittsburgh) and I've been reading your blog religiously since 2006. It sounds crazy but I'm a die hard Mets fan (I even have their NY logo tattoo'd on my calf). Anyways, I saw that you were coming for a couple games at PNC in August. I'd be more than happy to pick you up from the airport and let you crash at my place and drive you up to both games vs Milwaukee, it wouldn't be a problem at all. I'd love to meet you and have you autograph your book. I'm a ballhawk too but I don't get to too many game, and I'd be more interested in seeing you do your thing than getting any for myself. But yeah, if you stay here I'll give ya my room and crash on the couch. Just let me know. Hope to see you soon. Take care buddy.

Dear Zack:
My son Zachary (age 8) and I are quickly becoming fans of yours. We've read two of your books, and have worked on your glove trick. We don't go to many games, but unlike you (down in DC), we braved the record crowd at Citi Field yesterday and managed to snag three balls. We had planned this for a long time, and the preparation was worth it.
Thanks for sharing your secrets. We like following your blogs at different parks, and seeing your pics.

Hey Zack,
I know your in Washington for the Pirates series, but I can't attend any of the games. When will you be in Washington again, because I'm dying to meet you. Also, do you know how to sneak into the red seats in centerfield in Washington? Those seats are perfect from a ballhawking perspective, but I always get kicked out before I enter. Thanks

Hey Zack, we met earlier at the Yankee game during BP. We chatted quick and talked about you getting me into ballhawking and about my twitter picture, lol. I'm not sure if you like to keep pictures of you with your readers, but if so, attached is the picture you took with me. I know how you hate being interrupted but it was cool of you to take one. Great meeting you, best of luck on your huge trip coming up and hopefully the ankle heals up. See you around the stadium again sometime.

Hey Zack, I wanna say thanks to for giving me that ball at Yankee Stadium on June 29. That ball really inspired me to start a collection like you. Later that game Yavoni Gallardo came near my section and he was kind enough to sign my ball. Again. thank you very much for giving me your ball. (P.S) Im also thinking about going to a game with you in July with my dad :)
June 21, 2011
Hi Zack,
Just wanted to drop a line to say hello. You chatted with my mother and I in the line to get into batting practice yesterday. (We are the ones you were talking to in the picture for you blog post of the game). I googled you on my phone right after you told us your name before you were brought to the elevator to get to the green monster seats and I read some articles about you and watched your TV reel and think its really cool that you've gotten so many balls and was really fascinated to hear how you go about doing it. Really cool to see that you are snagging balls for charity this season too. I'm looking forward to checking out more of your site and following your blog as well as reading your books. Granted, I didnt know who you were at the time, but it was lovely meeting you and chatting.

Hi Zack,
I believe I read that you're coming to KC in early September? If so, I would be glad to help you score some free tickets. I've been going to the "K" since it opened in 1973 and know all the ins and outs of the stadium. I'm the guy you who sent you video tape links of the players who hit home runs in the outfield gap on your June 18, 2009 blog. I believe I was able to identify one of your baseballs as being hit by Ramon Hernandez.
Anyway, if you need help with tickets just let me know. If you need a ride from the airport, I can help with that too.
I've attached my picture with the statue of Buck O'Neil in the Royals HOF. I have the distinction of being the first fan to enter the new HOF when it first opened. That's my baseball I placed in his hand for the photo. Even had a film crew filming the grand opening.
So, please don't hestitate to ask if you need anything while in KC.
A huge Zack and Royals fan,
-Tom

Hey Zack,
My name is Jacob and I met you on 5/24/11 at Yankee Stadium. I was the one who kept going back and forth to the bullpen. Anyways I was at the Mets Angels game last night and I snagged 2 balls thanks to your helpful tips. One from Dan Warthen and one from Tom Gregorio. I have been reading your blog ever since we met. I will be at the Mets Phillies game on 7/17/11 so if you are going maybe we could meet up. June 18, 2011
Thanks Zack for an awesome night! After two years of reading your blog, it’s super cool to see my name mentioned in it. That was cool how you showed my tweet. Whenever I feel depressed about sitting around all day due to my broken foot, I always think of you.

Hi Zack, my wife and I and your "youngest fan" met you on June 14th at Safeco Field. We looked you up when we got home and found out that you're a celebrity! We just wanted to say thanks for the ball and we like what you do! We saw some of your videos online, very neat! We didn't realize that you're an author as well, I'll be checking your books out for sure! Are you a Mets fan? I grew up and played ball with Jason Bay, have you met him? Anyway, it was nice to meet you!

Hello Mr. Hample,
Our family is very impressed by you! We are baseball fans. My husband, David, is the biggest fan in our family. He has loved baseball since he was a young boy. Not only does he love the game, he loves collecting baseball related “stuff.” He has collected Topps baseball cards since he was seven and is also into “card art.” When Topps opened their vault several years ago and sold a bunch of stuff at auction, David was thrilled to get some of the original card art inkings. We have three kids – two boys (Maple and Hawthorne, ages 8 and 4) and one girl (Maxine, age 6). David has introduced his love of baseball and card collecting to Maple and Maxine. And they have the bug! Currently, David is reading your first book, How To Snag Major League Baseballs, to Maple and Maxine before they go to bed each night. They all love it!
From reading your web site and blog, I know you receive many emails, so let me get to the point. As a Father’s Day gift, I would love to set up a day at a ballpark with you and my husband (and possibly our oldest kid). My husband would be THRILLED!!! We live in Seattle (I know you were just here!) but would prefer to go to another city. As far as timing is concerned – the last two weeks of July, and the last two weeks in August work best. But, honestly, we would probably move mountains to make a date with you! Do we have a chance?
I know I am crazy but would like to say something about this to my husband for Father’s Day – yes, just three days from now. I would appreciate any word from you!!
Thank you for your time,
-Michelle, age 42
Seattle, Washington
P.S. We were at a Mariners v. Orioles game on May 30 at Safeco. Maple, our oldest, was thrilled when Willie Randolph (Orioles) tossed him a ball!
June 16, 2011
Thanks so much for making the trip out. Even though you were all busted up its still amazing to see you snag so many baseballs. Awesome stuff.
We all loved having you at Safeco and hopefully I can catch up with you throughout the season. Thanks for the books, and thank you so much for all the education on baseball. I truly appreciate it and I'm sure others do too. Glad you've been able to open this world of ballhawking up to the masses (even if it creates more competition) its given me the opportunity to get out, watch tons of baseball games, meet interesting people, and share what I love to do with others. So I can't thank you enough for that, Zack. And since you've been snagging baseballs for charity that has prompted me to do the same thing. I snag baseballs for the Seattle Human Society and they couldn't be happier.
Stay safe, man and have a great rest of the season!

Last night my kid got 5 balls. 3 were toss ups and 2 were with the glove trick. I am going to let him finish this email.
Hey Zack I am only 11. I have read your blog for about 3 years now. I usually go to 10 to 15 games a year. I make my parents go really early. Usually we get to the stadium before the gate opens. I only went for toss ups until yesterday. I used my dads glove for the Glove Trick. I used it twice yesterday. I also got toss ups from Danys Baez, Lester Strode and I got a ball from Rodrigo Lopez by asking in Spanish. I want to thank you for inspiring me to go to BP. Until I read your blog I would get 0 or 1 balls.
June 11, 2011
Zack, how are you doing...besides the ankle of course! I am a big fan of what you do and would like to meet you while you are @ Safeco Field next week. I will be attending all 3 games against the Angels Mon/Tues/Wed so basically let me know the best way to make this happen, if at all possible. I have an account on MyGameBalls.com using my name (joshboyd, currently at the 20 spot on the season standings), so if you get a chance hop on and take a peek. I spend a lot of time with Wayne Peck (AKA waynepeck on MyGameBalls.com) while at the stadium so there is a good chance I might be with him. I know you are a busy man but I look forward to hearing back from you, Thank You.

Zack, Hope your ankle is doing better. I know that must suck. I know you are very busy but I was talking to people I know in the front office for the Akron Aeros
Double A team and they would love to have you throw out a first pitch. So if you get to Cleveland for a game I could pick you up and bring you down and back. Just go to their website and see if there is a game you could make. I will get everything set up for you. The team will take photos for you and email them to you. Maybe you could do autographs for the kids. They would give you a table behind home plate. The crowds have gotton pretty good. Just let me know if this is something you would like to do and I will start setting it up. Maybe we could take in the Indians game together.
It was really fun when I threw out that 1st pitch for the military game. Being a Navy Vet it was an honor to be asked. I hope oneday to make it over to see a Yankees game with some friends. I want a baseball from there so bad. Any ball. Just so it came from the Yankees. So let me know. More than happy to have you here. If this is something you may like to do please feel free to contact me. Get well soon. Jerry

Hey Zack,
I read the MLB.com article (through the link on twitter). Its a great article, and there's a quote in it that I love:
"It's my own version of fantasy baseball, where I get to interact and play with numbers and feel like I'm a part of it somehow."
It's sometimes tough to explain "why you need 5,000 baseballs," like a player asked you in one of your recent blog entries, but millions of people play fantasy baseball and I think that the fun in fantasy baseball and the fun in ballhawking are extremely similar. In a way, anyone who says that it is childish for grown men to be running around stadiums trying to catch baseballs is also saying that the millions of Americans who play fantasy baseball are also childish (which they might be). I think that the main reason that ballhawks are often criticized for their obsessions, while many people who obsess over make-believe baseball teams (I am one of them) don't get criticized so much, is simply because fantasy baseball is so much more popular.
Hope to see you at some O's games this summer.

Hey Zack,
It was great meeting you tonight. My wife says you are a really nice guy :)
I just wanted to say thanks...two of the three balls I snagged were because of the advice from your blog and books: on the foul ball, when I realized I couldn't get to where the ball was going to land, I stood back and waited for it to bounce off someone's hands (which it did), and I never would have thought of getting one from the umpire without reading your blog. I also remembered you saying to use players' first names and umpires' last names. Lots of people were yelling "Bruce" but when I said "Mr. Dreckman" he looked at me and tossed me a ball.
I'd honestly never really tried to snag balls at a game before, so to get three, including a gamer, was a real thrill. I told Caitlin, "The Hample Method really works!"
When I found out we'd be at the same game, I was hoping to see you snag 5000 live, but at least I did get to witness a new SkyDome/Rogers Centre record. Congrats and hopefully you grab a Bautista homer for 5000 tomorrow :)
Again, great to meet you. I think Ava is looking forward to having her picture in the blog.
Take care,
-Matt

Zack,
Your HR catches from Giambi and Damon were the two moments that got me into ballhawking. I know you may hear that a lot, but from me, I mean it. I know that you snag for charity, and I have decided to give back as well. I definitely will do this next year, but I am thinking about starting this up in June. The system would run just like yours, with people able to make a pledge per baseball or just one cumulative donation. Of course 100% of these proceeds would go to charity.
I also am going to sell a lot of the baseballs I snag throughout the remainder of the season, with price depending on condition and even a few signed baseballs would go up for sale. 50% of these proceeds would go to charity. I am leaning towards The Children's Institute being my charity of choice. It is a non-profit that helps challenged children. I actually was there when I was younger as I was behind my age group in terms of motor skills. I would just seek them out for approval. I would love you to let your readers know about this and ask them to support me. I know that they already support you, but even a $5 pledge makes all the difference. You can link them to my blog and also give them this email address if they would like to contact me for more info. Any help of course would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hey Zack,
First, it was cool catching up with you @ the Mariners game. Friday night on WJZ-TV, our local channel 13 had you as their anchor sports story. They said your name, where you were from and showed video of all 3 of your catches that night. Here's the link to their site, you might be able to contact them to get a copy of it. http://baltimore.cbslocal.com/category/sports/ Congrats again on your catches, the fans in my section had never seen anything like it! My favorite part of the night (besides the come from behind win) was as i was about to walk down to the employee tunnel, i look over and see you turn around with your arms raised and yell "I love you Camden Yards!"..can't tell you how big of a smile that put on my face!
See ya next time at the Yard,
Bobby

Hey,
I saw your third foul ball catch from my seats! That's incredible! Just wanted to mention that I'm currently doing an internship at a sports radio station (WNST) so while I am only an intern I could probably bring up your name as a possible call-in guest for tomorrow. I'm not sure if they would be interested or not, but if they are and you are also interested, how should I try to contact you? By the way, I also saw your twitter link to the MLB.com highlights of you catching the foul balls!

Hi Zack-
My oldest son, Andrew (12), found your new book in his Easter Basket. Later that evening, I found him standing on his bed, using a glove, string and marker contraption to pick baseballs off the floor. LOL! It worked, and he cannot wait to go to a Royals game. He has since asked me to find a collapsible veggie steamer. Do they really let you in the game with this stuff?
Best Regards,
Beth Ann

Hey Zack my name is Kyle. I have been reading your blog for a couple of years now and because of you, my best friend and I have been ballhawking or "Netting" at AT&T Park for the past 2 years. I had read your blog earlier and you had said that you were looking at going to every Ball Park this season. Have you finalized your schedule yet? I would definetly like to get the chance to ballhawk against you at AT&T or even the Oakland Coliseum, but hey I know your the Pro and I'm the amateur.
Take Care Zack,
Kyle

Hi Zack
I'm a blogger from Taiwan and I've wrote an article (in Chinese) about you and your snagged baseballs. Thanks to you, readers love the story and were amazed by the things you've done.
Well, Chin Lung Hu is now with the Mets right now.
I don't know have you learned the Chinese version of 'Can I have a ball please?'
I hope this could help you on sngging baseball from him in case you need it.
(Hello, may I have a ball please?)
/ni how, ke yi gay wo yi ke chou ma/
p.s. I've read your book 'Watching Baseball Smarter' in Chinese, love it!
Please forgive my bad English writing
Sincerely,
Ernie Pan

Greetings Zack from Down Under,
Haha how are you man? First of all let me get this out of the way and be like every other fan of yours who emails you and say that i'm an avid reader of your blog and have all of your books and have read them all 2 or 3 times, which says alot about a person like me who never reads and i mean never. I think the last thing i read was the TV guide or the menu at that restaurant last week.
Anyway let me introduce myself,
I'm Nick, 19 yrs soon to be 20, a Minnesota Twins fan but enjoy watching all teams play and a huge baseball fan which is hard in Australia considering we barely get any games on, although the recent MLB.TV has helped tremendously this season.
Getting to the good stuff though, my dad, little brother (he's 12) and I have been trying to book a holiday to America to visit a couple of stadiums as a sort of MLB holiday next season sometime, despite cheering on the Twins i'm most excited to visit Fenway because of the history and how beautiful it looks. And can't think of a better person to watch a game with then the man who's snagged almost 5000 baseballs.
Although we are planning this holiday for next year and it is a fair way away and i was just curious as to whether you would be able to join us up in Boston for 2 or 3 games hopefully and curious as to how much roughly that would cost.
Hope you have time to reply,
Cheers
Nick
PS - Have you had any Aussies ask to be a Watch with Zack client?, just curious haha

Hi Zack. I am a regular reader of your blog and have a great deal of respect for your spirit and outlook on life. In one entry you are able to make your readers laugh out loud and cry as you express your feelings only seconds later. I could really feel your excitement as you were waiting to meet Mike Nickeas and the honest, heartfelt genuineness of the experience for you.
I am a 45 year old kid-at-heart who lives in the Tampa area with my wife and 11 year old son. I just wanted to offer my help if you need anything as you prepare to come to Tampa. I don't know if you have any friends/family here but you are willing to stay in our home if necessary. We live in a nice gated community and have a spare bedroom.
Take care and keep up the good work.

Hi Zack, I just read your story about the Nickeas homerun ball and checked out your site. I'm admittedly struggling with how to actually write this mail...because your story and site get me so jacked up. I would love to share and hear your stories...but mine aren't probably as exciting as most revolve around our Single-A Boise Hawks. I know you're too busy...but hope you're still reading.
I actually wanted to write because I will be heading to San Fran in a week and a half and will catch a game against the Rockies. Any tips on where I might be most likely to get a ball in that park? I've always wanted to get an MLB ball at a game...my son got one in 2009 in San Diego off the bat of Kevin Kouzmanoff and it was so exciting to me I had a plaque made for the ballholder I got to commemorate the date.
Anyway, you may have stopped reading...but this kind of shit gets me super geeked. Hope you can help me get my first MLB baseball.
Thanks in advance for any help!
Christian

Dear Mr. Hample,
I really appreciate that you took the time to address my questions. I know that you're busy and likely recieve emails from many other people asking you all sorts of questions. You're answers were great and have really helped me write my essay and understand the baseball and why Americans think it's important. Thank you so much for taking time out of your busy schedule to answer my questions.
Good luck in catching more baseballs!

Hey Zack-
I am wondering if you are planning to go to the Jays Stadium this season in the first week of September or Cleveland anytime in August this year. I'm just trying to see if i'll meet you at any games. I'll also be at a Phillies/Marlins game on August 27. I am really hoping to meet you sometime since you are my inspiration, but because I don't live on my own (yet) i can't exactly go to games by myself.
I also wondered why you don't count Minor League or Spring Training balls?
Thanks for reading,
-Jon
P.S- I'm sorry I send you so many e-mails. All my questions come at different times. If it gets a little irritating, just tell me. Thanks :)

Hell0 Mr. Zack Hample, my name is Mike. I have been a extreme fan of you, and have probably read every one of you're blog entries since 05-06 season. I would love to here ahead of time if or when you are making a trip to either: The US Cell (White Sox), Wrigley Field (Cubs), or Miller Park (Brewers). I would love to meet you in person. I have bought all 3 of you're books and have read all 3 front to back. I am 18 and have been collecting baseballs since 2000, and am currently on my way to my 2,000 baseball (1963). Please email me back or blog ahead of time when you will be going to any of those ballparks. Thank you for you'r time and reading my message. I am a true fan of yours and would absolutly love to meet you in person.
Thanks again.
-Mike

Hi Zack,
This is George, me and my son (who was wearing the Verlander jersey) met you at the game against the Tigers the other night. You gave me your business card with your web address. Well, just wanted to relay to you that your site is terrific and I had no idea all the media attention you have received. You are quite the celebrity and would like to congratulate you on your success. Also saw that my son and myself managed to be in two of the pics on your blog.
Was really nice meeting you the other nice and continued success in what you are doing.

Hi Zack-
You don't know me. But my name is Chris from Detroit and I've been reading your blog for a few years now. I'm also the owner of 'Watching Baseball Smarter' (and will get 'The Baseball' soon). I thought you might appreciate this serendipitous event:
I was sitting on the couch watching the Tigers-Orioles game while reading your blog entry from the other night. At PRECISELY that same moment I happend to look up and see Alex Avila hit his homerun to right field in the 4th inning. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the closeup of the guy who caught that HR...
Weird.
Anyway, keep up the great work. I enjoy your work.
-Chris

Hey Zack, I read on your blog that you're coming to Houston on April 28-29. I was thinking if possible we could probably meet on one of those days. If we are, i would recommend that you start snagging in the Crawford boxes so we can meet then you can go.
Thanks and I hope to see you there...
-Angel
P.S Picked up a copy of your new book....loved it
P.S.S I'm that guy who's 11 on mygameballs.com, "Angel" I've always wanted to meet you and I guess like always.. I'll be that kid with the Red Astros jersey in the 1st row. Gates open at 5:30...I'm going to be there the whole time in the crawford boxes so I don't mind if you move around the ballpark like always.. and still I hope to see you there....
